“She goes for cosmetic treatments, but loves the doctors and told me to check out their LASIK options.”
“great place for vision correction”
“The staff at Chelsea Eye has been wonderful and has provided great support services, responsive care and top notch customer service.”
“Dr. Coad is not only an outstanding physician, but an extraordinarily kind and generous man who, without batting an eyelash, offered to make a house call -- in the freezing cold night of a New York City winter, to a patient whom he hardly knew.”
I agree with one of the reviews get a 2nd opinion. I also had the same problem but did not go for a 2nd opinion. He knew well I needed to have a lower bleph but insisted I get juvederm & radiesse injections to take my money. Please go to a more qualified doctor and do your research. This place is more interested in your money than helping you. I am still suffering the consequences of my decision to have the eyelid area injected with radiesse which is not recommended by surgeons for the eye area ( I did not know this)…
what a great procedure.
I know Dr. Coad for many years, but in my busy schedule I just never had the time to even make an eye exam visit...finally I decided to go and take an eye exam...by the time I left the office I had
and appointment 4 days later for the lasik procedure.....I am a very critical individual and I pushed Dr. Coad to the limit of exactly what I wanted my final result to be...To my amazement, he not only met my expectations but exceeded it....I can't believe the results were better than I thought they would be....There is only one doctor I would recommend....the answer is obvious...DR. COAD....
Hey buddy, you are the best.....happy holidays
Alan Silverstein…
Highly recommend LASIK & Dr. Coad.
In the late 1990s, Dr. Coad preformed LASIK surgery to correct my nearsightedness. Back then the procedure was still somewhat new, but he put me at ease. Everything went exceedingly well and the
procedure lasted all of a few minutes. Later that night, after a nap, I was watching a subtitled film, to my delight, without glasses.
Today my vision is still great and I've never had a problem. I can highly recommend Dr. Coad to see if LASIK is right for you, and am happy to say over a decade later Dr. Coad is still my optometrist.…
Get a Second Opinion....
I visited Dr Eviatars' office on July 15, 2010. I was looking to have lower eyelid surgery, known as blepharoplasty.
First, I had a free consultation with his staff Amy Eidelman who spoke of a under going a lower lid retraction & I later met with Dr Eviatar for a paid consultation of $200. Dr. Eviatar said he would not perform a lower lid retraction and what I needed was Juviderm injections which would be the same cost as the "lower lid retraction". I decide to think it over.
I did some research on "lower lid retraction" and talked with an expert plastic surgeon and the Chief of Plastic Surgery at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital on this subject. As I discovered in my research and the highly esteemed and reputable Dr at Manhattan Eye Ear and Throat Hospital confirmed, a "lower lid retraction" is a condition, not a procedure, as I was told by Dr Eviatar and his cosmetic consultant Amy Eidelman. The Dr at Manhattan Eye Ear and Throat Hospital reccommended no surgical procedure at that point in time and highly discourged injections in the eye area.
I did not appreciate being given misinformation by Dr Eviatar and his staff in an effort to persuade me to undergo injections, so that Dr Eviatar could perform a quick 15 minute procedure of injecting Juvaderm into my face and collect a fee of $1500.…
It's become like my family.
The last time I had an appointment, I was greeted by virtually every person saying hello to me in a very welcoming and honest way. I've been a patient for eye care and cosmetic care, and everyone is
great here. Let's start with the eyes. I am a contact lens wearer, which means I occasionally run out. I have swung by in the middle of my work day, and they have given me a spare disposable lens due to a tear or oth issue. They've called to check in on any eye problem after the fact. They just care!
As for the cosmetic side, they are unbelievable. Dr. Eviatar is an artist. He really takes pride in his work. It continues to advance as I go back, but he's really open and honest about how products will work. And Jane is the best! Love her! She takes her time with whatever spot or discoloration is on my face-which has been sooooo many. And she lets me know what to expect with discomfort. Being thorough when it comes to my face makes me feel the money is worth it, and the added bonus of a good time is priceless. Thank you, Chelsea Eye and Cosmetics, for giving me back so much confidence.…
