Way above and beyond expectations!. I went to Casa Brusco on March 24, 2009 for dinner. I very much enjoyed the food and a delightful surprise in thin pizza bread with light tomato sauce on top. Our waitress brought this pizza bread to our table as soon as we arrived and was very friendly. I'm from Southern Connecticut but the trip is worth it - I will return with friends often. It is gorgeously decorated, and am planning on having several parties/get-togethers at the restaurant over the next few months. Much more reasonable price then restaurants in Greenwich, CT and the best Italian food nearby.

I might come back. I came here wanting some pasta and left wanting some more. If you like Italian food then this is the place for you.

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE.... I came by after someone at work MENTIONED i should give it a shot. I took a seat at the bar and ordered a pizza carnivora with the bartender . There were only 2 other tables with customers eating so i assumed my order would be done quickly. After 10 mins of sitting at the bar without being acknowledged by neither of the 2 bartenders behind the bar who were chit chatting and pouring each other glasses of beer. One of them finally came by and asked if i wanted something to drink while i waited. I really did want a glass of nice red wine but their lack of customer service irked me so i said no thank you.

Over the next 30 mins, the bartenders were mingling around and drinking beer behind the bar with my order nowhere in sight. I called one bartender and asked what happened..she asked me if i had placed an order... I was shocked.. who was i talking with? i said that i placed an oder with her 20 minutes before. she went in the back and , within 1 minute he came out with my order. I guess my order was sitting there waiting for someone to bring it out and give it to me. As i break apart the pizza, i put my hand under the bottom of the pizza and it wasn't hot nor lukewarm. This confirmed to me that my order just sat there for a long time. I, for one do not like eating room temperature pizza that was just bought, but eating pizza that was in the fridge the next day is a different story.

Also, way way overpriced and totally lame i just wanted to get out of there. I asked the check, took my pizza to go and will never go back.....

words cannot express my disappointment, but as what i heard talking about at work the next day, this place is getting worst and worst day after day...

happy new year not. My husband forgot to call and make reservations for New Years eve somewhere...so I called and asked the manager Luigi if our party of four could have reservations for 9pm. He puts me on hold. Disconnected. I call back . "Ummmm... " He is flipping pages in a book. "Lemme a see aaaa .." Disconnected again! This is ridiculous. I call again and am mad. " Hello? Is there a reservation for 9 or not?? " I ask. Again Luigi says, " Ahh..I ama sorry ah eeef aah you wanna cumma eeena aahhhhh mebeeee earlier....aahhhh" and hangs up again.

I am never calling there again. I don't know who this Luigi is but what a retard.

One of the most forgettable meals...ever. I recently read about Casa Brusco in a local magazine that gave it high marks for "Food, Service, and Price." I can't imagine that the reviewer and I ate at the same restuarant. While the pasta was reasonable priced, the special veal milanese was as high if not higher than what you'd pay in NYC for a bigger, better peice of meat. Pasta dishes very relatively small, the special spicy black ink pasta with shrimp, was absent of any spices, served luke warm, and the shrimp simply wasn't fresh. The taglietelle bolognese, the one dish that stood out for the reviewer, was, at best, slightly above average. Service was abomitable, instead of refilling our glasses with water, the hostess found it more convenient to just leave to pitcher of water on the table. 3 tables that sat after us, ordered and received their meals long before we did (a 1hr wait). A polite complaint elicited a response from the hostess "you know it's Saturday night" as if that was supposed to mean something. A snotty waiter with a stong, barely understandable accent couldn't wait to race through the specials had no problem displaying his annoyance when we asked him to repeat 2 of the dishes. And, the one appetizer he recommended, Scallops, we were told, 10 minutes after ordering, were no longer available. I'm still waiting for someone, waiter, hostess, busboy, to ask us how we enjoyed our main courses. The one bright spot was the Tartufo dessert. While we were looking for the food to stand out, it didn't, and the horrid service, and relatively overpriced dinner as a whole ($216 for 1 bottle of $40 wine, 1 dessert, and 3 coffees) spoiled what little there was to like about the ambiance. Another couple waiting for their car shared our sentiments exactly. Don't waste your money, in fact don't bother going at all! We clearly won't be back.

CURSED, BAD KARMA PLACE.. STAY AWAY. I'm not sure what people are thinking, but this is not good food AT ALL...

I was so excited to come to this place after the nice article/review on the local magazine this week , but I was sadly disappointed. Saying that this is the "classic italian" is like saying pizza hut is the best pizza ever. "reasonable prices (try $16 for an entree) " i don't know what did she ordered but my menu was WAY OVERPRICED The bill was about $120 for two people, and the portions were not big enough! Try scalini in Bronxville, and if you find italian food better than theirs, please let me know...

VERDICT: Would only come back here if someone was treating and all the restaurants within a 20 mile radius were closed....

Also heard it is closing. check out JOBVENT about casa brusco...

FINALLY CLOSING!!!. Holy Cow what a disaster this place is. Or was I should say as it is CLOSING thank Heavens. I had an extremely boring meal there and the food took forever to come out and it was empty in there! Talk about LAZY servers!!!! Some girl with a huge attitude walked by our table of four and ignored us even though she was our waitress!! We finally had to ask an older guy for some help...is he the manager?? Who knows! Nobody is running the ship at this place and it shows. My wife called to book a party 2 days before the reservation. We were eating there to check out the food and service for that party. STILL no one has called us back about booking the party there and we left two messages for the manager. I just read that it is closing so thank the Lord we didn't book our son's bar mitzvah there. Good Riddance! If I could give it no stars I would.

nice reviews on papers, that's all i got. The place is tight and extremely hot. Even with the windows open. Possibly due to the fact that the pizza oven is in the way fo the restaurant. The tables are close together and the place altogether seems a bit dirty. The service was also pretty down. there was a waitress serving all of the tables there. She frequented the other tables quite often but never came to ours because she was chatting with coworkers. Then, when we asked her for things, she acted like she didnt want to do them. We had to flag her down after she passed up 3 times and saw our empty plates to ask for our bill. Service is -1.

Bad choice for vegetarians or vegans, unless you want another meal of some lame salad and fries.

Well casabrusco doesn't get a food review from me, but I will review their ability to take a reservation. This gets 1 star. I called last week to make a reservation, the person took my info, and I suppose promptly forgot to put it into the system. At least I found this out when I got there the day of the reservation...

For the price, there has to be better places in Westchester. lousy service, cute place, but not blown away by the food as expected.

poor customer service. We work just up the street, our office called on the first week of june to book the small room at the restaurant for our office party to take place on next Saturday, july 19th. I was told on the phone the room was available and the manager would be calling me to confirm the reservation as well as to provide me with details of the menu offerings. Four weeks later, our office still had not heard anything from the Manager or casa brusco, at all! So, I just called to confirm our reservation and get the appropriate details. The manager got on the phone and at first, told me there was no record of me calling or making a reservation. Then he said he found a note with my name (I was the person who called in june) on it and a note that someone had attempted to call us back to confirm our reservation. We work in an office, the phones are ALWAYS answered during business hours and voicemail is available after business hours. NOT ONE MESSAGE EXISTS regarding the lack of reservation due to incorrect information provided by the obviously uninformed person who originally answered the phone. The restaurant was guaranteed a party of 35 guests - and they just lost their business. The manager didn't seem to care either. What a poorly run customer service business!

Now i understand all the bad riviews this restaurant keep getting...
