Best indain thai-chinese in time square. Everything went perfect. I want to make it short and simple..i been there last Weds night January 20

i was on a diet but i decided to forget about it just for that day because the food was good. The servers was very funny and helped me enjoy my self. and always checked if i needed something...and recommended me all the good food and we all felt it was very good. I recommend to Co-workers and friends to come and try some of nankings excellent foods and enjoy themselves

Great experience... Hi Nan king staff... i came last time new years eve with my friends and girlfriend...That was my 3rd time going there...They improved a lot since when i first went there. The food the is great, perfect spices. They have great appetizer. Its very clean. Good waiters. the only problem was it was a little overcrowded on new years day..we were waiting for a table for about 20 mins..but what can you expect it was new years eve. It was worth the 20 minutes of wait. i had a great time. I recommend nanking for a party or a get together.

great place bad food. i went with my family on monday to nanking. we are from new jersey and we heard about this place so we wanted to try the food. unfortunetly the food taste was not good at all. the fried rice was bad. the rice was too hard. the chiken was too hard also. my mom didnt like it either.

after that i ordered chili chiken. it tasted too salty. i also tried chili fried lamb with my dad. the lamb was not cooked well. all that we ordered,which was eight to nine dishes, all those foods were just not good quality.

althought the place looked good, i suggest that they should change the recipe.

About Nanking restaurant. i started eating at nanking i was there last tuesday. i have to admit that nanking has a very good variety of chinese food. especially manchurian food. it is good.i would recommend this to everybody in manhattan.

the servers were very friendly.good service. the servers guys were really good. But one thing that should check is that i ordered drink and the drink taste was bad. i think they should modify the drink next time

Are they aware of Nanking Massacre??. It's really in bad taste or is it just plain ignorance? If you are aware of this sad part of history, you would NOT name your restaurant Nanking.

Aweful, uncouth service. I normally don't write reviews for restaurants but, was compelled to create an account and write a review only to prevent people from wasting their hard-earned money here.

The waiter was highly unprofessional and never checked on us, rather, delaying a simple order like beverages to 15 mins. The food portions were extremely small, our water was never replenished, they deliberately don't serve white rice with entrees so that customers would end up ordering another entree of rice. There is not even an option of side order of white rice further indicating, how they are coercing big bills.

Further, when we requested a doggy bag, the uncouth waiter threw our $12 rice entrees away! No explanations/reasons given.

The final nail in the coffin was when we were charged 18% for a party of 2 with no prior intimation given verbally or on the menu. On asking the waiter, he curtly replied 'Yes, tip is charged'.

This is easily the worst overall restaurant I have been to. It's a pity that they are in a good, affluent location with a good ambience thus, always having customers.

food is substandard; disappointing.. the wait staff was nice; ambiance was gd; however the quality of the food was BAD! they drowned a lot of our dishes w/ the spicey sweet red sauce. I ordered a steamed veggied dumpling which was the best dish. the other 2 appetizers my best friend & I ordered were covered/drowned in sugary sweet red spicey sauce; agh!!! for my entree I had a noodle dish--not bad I thought, but then twds my 2nd bite, it was way too salty - but better than the sugary/saucy appetizers. my best friend ordered a veggie entree but they gave him a poultry one instead, which was not bad but for some odd reas, the chicken didn't taste like chicken; instead it tasted like stale breaded tofu!!! I"m asian, so I know excellent asian food and this place is unfortunately very poor when it comes to food. the wait staff was very nice/friendly, so we tipped them nicely.

AWESOME PLACE!!!. This place is AMAZING. I highly recommend the crispy lotus noodles. It was absolutely delicious. And if you're a vegetarian, like I am, there are so many options available for you. The nanking delight, an excellent shake, is the perfect drink and the date pancakes are the best dessert. For the main dish, the manchurian is awesome. I'm planning on going back as long as my pants still fit me in a week!
