Great Rooftop Party!. I celebrated my birthday at High Bar last year and it was really fun! My guy friends could sit and hang out while the girls (and the guys who wanted to) danced. It was a great mix of a club/ bar scene. I planned my party through AccessGotham so I got right in with no cover! I highly recommend High Bar.

Book parties at HighBar through Access Gotham. If you want to have a party at a club in NYC don't try and book it through a promoter for that club, trust me, its too complicated. When I was trying to find a place to host my 22nd birthday i went on Access Gotham's website and chose HighBar from over 50 venues all throughout the city. They made sure my party of 42 people had no door hassles, VIP service, and a free bottle of champagne waiting for us when we got there!

People Just don't go there,What a hell place in mid town,.
Fellows I don't have this kind of expirence before. Door men were A** Hole. They don't want our business. They intensionally make people standing down for hrs and at the end just say excuse. They keep joking together. Over all very nasty serving staff.
In sort stay away from here. There are lot of good places to go in the city. So F**k them.

Hideous entrance, Horrible service and Over priced drinks!. Wow! I'm not surprised that this horrible bar got only one star from most reviews. Never visit this place or you will get ripped off! The entrance looks very spooky. I felt like entering the haunted house--the wall was painted black and absolutely NOT classy. The elevator smells! Unfriendly/Horrible service and ignorant waitresses. Drinks come in a very tiny amount and totally overpriced! Literary, 3 sips of cosmo would easily cost you $17, plus 20% service charge. Expect to get 20% service charge while offering a total rudeness and ignorance to customers?!? Are you kidding me!?! The bar design is just ok, comparing to other beautiful and elegant rooftop bars in NYC. They can do better than that. If there is no improvement in the future, They should be consider closing down the bar!!

Worst Roof top lounge in NYC.
The worst roof bar to go in NYC, don’t recommend going there.
We went on sat night (were on list) waited for half an hour to get in (because they only have one elevator). Later on same night they didn’t let in a couple of our friends.
Dance floor was small and crowded; music was ok, people so-so, design – average.
Drinks extremely expansive- gin and tonic was $17 (usually same drink price is $8).
The worst part-this place closed at 2:30 am on sat night! But it takes 1 hour to get out of there. Do yourself a favor and go to another rooftop bar (there are a few better places in this area)

Over-priced and over rated.
I went to the place and was amazed by the decor and the view... BUT the cocktails were way over priced... $70 for 4 cocktails!!!!! You can go to the Mandarian Oriental and be in a lush environment for less than that. Not only were they served in plastic glasses, there was also a 20% grat. attached.
Not cool.. and very bridge and tunnel if you ask me.
