All in all I had a great experience working with moveourstuff com. They took all the worries and stress out of my move. They were ontime and finished before the quote they had given me. Best Moving Company Ever

Was amazed with the professionalism from everyone from the moving coordinator to each individual mover on the job. I was alone with the movers all day long and they made me feel very comfortable around them, a very good thing considering im a young woman and was by my self. The Operations Manager on the day of the job stayed with me step by step to make sure I understood everything. I would recommend this service to anyone looking to move.

Quality control

Living in Manhattan, I have moved many times and had several bad experiences. That is part of the reason why it was so great to find a quality company like moveourstuff. This company has great quality control and professional, courteous service. The supervisor that was assigned to my move was a seasoned veteran who mad sure my move was executed efficiently and safely. He explained to me that after the move there would be a post-move survey, and the results of that survey would directly impact his compensation. That is probably why the move was executed so efficiently. About 5 days after the move, the office called me to conduct that survey, to which I gave a very high score. The person in the office said they would give me a $25 to $50 referral check for every move I referred to them. I would have referred them anyway. I am definitely going to refer any friends, family members, and colleagues to this company. If other moving companies had a similar post-move evaluation compensation for their movers, the moving industry would have a much better reputation.

MoveOurStuff.com suggests the following tips prior to your move: Put smaller boxes in larger boxes to make fewer trips. Remove wheels from everything with wheels. Disassemble anything you can. Label every box with its contents and its room. (Or better yet have them do that) Mark boxes with breakables as "fragile". Then, don't drop them.
The Extras:
Put Styrofoam peanuts in boxes before you put in your breakables. Spread the weight of heavy items over several boxes. Make sure boxes are completely sealed. Use bubble wrap and newspaper to wrap fragile items. Defrost freezers so they are clear of ice on the day of the move. Pack a separate "emergency" box with things you'll need on the day before the move.
