Danny's basic workouts are intense and condensed into a half hour so it's easy to spare the time. It is amazing what incremental and measurable results I have gotten within a couple of months! Also, I am engaging in activities such as heavy weight lifting that I have never done before or thought I could do. I am not a runner and hated it, but I am running and enjoying it. Danny's training complements my dance, pilates and yoga background and has made me stronger performing dance combinations or asanas.
At 6:00 AM it?s easy for me to find the motivation to workout since I look forward to starting the morning training with Danny. He?s a terrific guy; I enjoy our sessions and feel energized for the rest of the day! Check him out, you'll be glad you did.
Solid Work Out. Danny puts together great programs that offer a diverse mix of exercises to keep me interested and motivated. Working out with him has really given me a much more positive attitude towards the gym because I don't have to deal with the monotony of a treadmill and I have noticed great results in overall toning. He gives me exercises that I would never otherwise do on my own because I just wouldn't feel comfortable with the equipment and level of weights and wouldn't push myself for as strong a workout as he can create for me. Great trainer in NYC. I used to be a professional soccer player, but those days are long past. I decided to get back in shape for soccer, basketball, and the beach and started training with Danny Segelin. I saw an immediate impact - the pounds started to melt away and my strength and endurance quickly improved! Danny does an excellent job of tailoring the workouts to meet your specific goals. Unlike some other trainers, he has the practical experience (he was a former pro soccer player) plus the textbook knowledge of strength and conditioning. I highly recommend Danny.
Pesonal Training With Results. I was always a bit skeptical for the need of a personal trainer thinking they are for people needing motivation or instruction. I've been lifting weights on and off for many years and have been through training programs for both football and hockey. A few months ago I tried some sessions with Danny Seglin. Not only did I notice immediate results but I was also very impressed with his knowledge and what I have learned through him. Segelin is worth every penny. I've been working out with trainers and solo for about ten years (more or less seriously) (in just about everything except maybe swimming), and my experience with NYFI has been top notch. Danny Segelin, who is the backbone of the place, although qualified to train professional athletes, is a great coach for even beginners. He's conscious and careful about injuries, and he's charmingly easy going. Try his Kettles!
