From The Owner of Panca

The former Pardo's has changed its name to Panca and its menu from chicken to classic Peruvian and South American dishes. Don't go looking…

Finally, awesome Peruvian Food in the US. I have been traveling to Peru for many years now. For the first time in the US, I tasted the magical flavors that I have only experienced inside Peru and its awesome culinary country. For so long, I have been looking for a place that offered this here in our country. Panca is my spot!! Keep doing what you are doing!! Everyone needs to try it!

For first timers I recommend the cebiche martini and the lomo saltado.

Nos vemos el sabado ;)

The Pisco Sours and Mojitos are amazing. Also I have "Arroz con Pato" and "Tacu-Tacu con Entrania"

The Best Peruvian Restaurant. I went to Panca Restaurant with my Peruvian family and we just loved it!! ...Specially the seafood.....Cebiche Martini is my favorite......The traditional Peruvian food presented in a modern way I think is awsome and the taste is amazing............Im glad we have this quality of Peruvian restaurant right here in Manhattan.

Average Peruvian Food!!!. Went there last week with my wife because a friend recommend it, but im totally disappointed....

We ordered 5 different dishes and i was happy only with one of them.

I had the Causa and i think was the best causa i ever tried, but then everything else was just bad like Conchitas a la Parmesana the baby scallops were fishy and over-cooked obviously not fresh and the cheese on top was all burned, after that we had the Anticuchos and was not similar or close enough to a real anticucho taste maybe because was too acidic or the cow's heart was too chewy, Then we had the Ceviche 5 Elementos and it was just ok i dont even know what kind of fish they were serving on that ceviche and the Hawaiian Pink Sea Salt doesn't make any difference at all or... wait a minute maybe they forgot about it , and finally we order the Chef's Mosaico Tiradito and was nothing out of this world.. body the restaurant in front of your store makes better Tiraditos and they are not 100% peruvian!!!

Another thing everytime we asked for something our waiter told us.... sorry but we dont have this dish today or sorry we are out of this item.... i felt bad for him because he is the one who had to deal with hungry people like us.... his service was good.

Good luck guys... but after all im going to come back and give them another try or maybe just order 5 Causas.

Best place for Peruvian Seafood in the Tris-state area!!. Best peruvian seafood in NYC hands down. This is what you get when you go to a Peruvian restaurant with a Peruvian Chef as opposed to one with a Peruvian cook. Although I love those holes in Patterson and Queens with home-made style Peruvian food in Panca you'll get the closest you can get in the city to a high end Peruvian dish in Lima. The service is very good, the prices OK and the atmosphere relaxed. It can get corwded in teh Winetr though as the place is small.

The "Tiradito" and ths "Causa" are my favorites. The Pisco Sour and Lomo are great but the best in the tri-state area still in Bohemia (Bllomfield, NJ).

Cheaper than a flight to South America, a trip to this downtown spot features cebiches so fresh you might actually think you're in the Andes.. In Short
Executive chef Emmanuel Piqueras refined his novo-Andean cooking in the Pacific Northwest, emphasizing octopus, calamari and other seafood soaked in pepper, herbs, lime, and garlic and topped with green mango or aji sauce. His cebiches come in two sizes, tapas and appetizers, and in a vertical, brilliant array that matches the turquoise-and-white decor. Purists will appreciate classic entrées like arroz con pato (rice with duck) and lamb-shank stew, as well as the Latin American Top-40 playing on the stereo.
