Fun and interactive show!

I see why they call this place the #1 most popular spot for a bachelorette party in NYC--gorgeous, gyrating men stripping down to teeny, tiny thongs, an all-girl audience completely pumped and screeching with excitement, friendly, shirtless waiters and booze--it's really a perfect place for girls to just get crazy and feel wonderfully catered to~

As for the dancers, they all had incredible bodies and I was pleasantly surprised to find there were 4 or 5 guys that were actually quite handsome (pretty faces, nice hair) as well! Two that stood out to me were Dean the Business Man (lol~ if you like the Wall St. Type, you'll appreciate this cutie's dance skid--he's also trying to become an actor, it seems, and let me tell you, he's got the looks for it!) and Bishop the European Nobleman (Hungarian, specifically~ He's from Hungary, I think and has that dark, mysterious, sultry vibe and starts his extremely impressive/athletic routine off with some beautifully choreographed moves--very classy somehow!)--I give them both top props!!

Some of the guys (like those two) were really bringing it during the show--taking their performances/dancing/seduction seriously despite knowing that most of the audience didn't really care what they did as long as they were hot and almost-naked. I really appreciated the guys who made an effort--it was somehow more respectful to us ladies, because they were truly aiming to allure and please (as any male customer at a female strip club expects) rather than just showing off their bodies and lording it over their spellbound audience.

The show attempts to cater to various women's fantasies. There are lots of guys in uniform, as expected (a firefighter, a cop, an airforce guy), a cowboy, the above-mentioned wall st. business man, a pair of felons, a 50 Cent-like black dude, a Hispanic guy... gah, I can't remember what else. @_@ It seems like they use different guys for different nights--here's hoping you can see Dean, at least, who was voted Playgirl's Playmate of theYear 2008 (and for very good reason)--you really haven't seen anything like his routine before!

My suggestions to the staff: how about a little more interaction among the guys? It's hot seeing a guy being gorgeous on his own, but get some light, playful bromance factor in there and you'll have the girls screaming even more~ :P

Great show, terrible setup for General Admission

The show itself was great - I was laughing my butt off.

I arrived with my party at about 7:45, and was told that we would have to wait outside, where there was no line at the time, until "the promoter" decided we could go in. Even though we had tickets.

Outside there is a sign saying "30 min wait" - at 7:45 with no one on line.

So in 4" heels, we went to dinner and came back at 8:45, which is 15mins before the show. We were told again that we have to wait (i didn't see any reason as there were only a handful of girls on line). They actually let us in AFTER the show started, checked ID twice, checked our reservations, and made us buy 2 drink tix before getting in. At this point, we already missed the first act. It's like they were determined to make us wait in line, no matter what time we got there. Upstairs is like a balcony. There was an area wide enough for chairs, but we could not see the stage while seated, because girls were standing looking over the railing. The stage is tiny and the balcony goes all the way around the room, and wasn't very high, so the stage lights blocked the view from the balcony in some places. So to get a good view, we, and every one else in the balcony were STANDING FOR THE ENTIRE SHOW. In 4" heels. Looking at the website, I expected seats. There were lots of seats - but they didn't mention that you wouldn't be able to see anything if you sat down.

The setup seems designed to force you to buy VIP tickets - eg. "wait in line" for no reason, limited view and no seats. If I had gotten VIP, I would have been on the main floor, would be able to see the stage while seated, and they say there would be no line. However, I wouldn't go again, because I feel like I was cheated. If you're thinking of General Adm tickets - skip it. VIP or go somewhere else.

Gorgeous Male Strippers in NYC!

I went see the Manhattan Men in NYC by myself because I was bored and lonely. I kid, I kid! Of course I went with a group of girlfriends for a bachelorette party. Most of them weren't too keen on the idea at first, but once we got in, their tune changed!! The waiters are very cute and so nice, with great attitudes. The performers are all classicly "good-looking", you know, chiseled hunks of man meat with square jaws, bulging biceps and full heads of hair. And there's someone for everyone... caucasian, african american, hispanic, officers, gentlemen, cowboys, firemen... As another reviewer pointed out, the women that come to this show are totally in it for a good time. High energy, for sure. My friend bought me a dance ON STAGE (hello, mortified) with Jean, who was dressed as a naughty cop and who takes his job very seriously-- I got a pretty raunchy dance but when I started to get into it he hissed in my ear "stop moving around, you're ruining my routine". Buzz kkill! There is also a dancer nicknamed "Hot Chocolate" and I'll give you one guess as to how he got that name. LOL. The place turns into a dance club after the performance and I think the dancers hang around if you want to meet them. We didn't. :)
