Great beer selection. I was at the bar on sat night not only did I have great beers(I think there were like 15 or 16 )I ended up meeting people I haven't seen in yrs. The bartender was awesome to. Great bar and a lot of fun and I didn't pay nyc prices

braised short rib, sweet potato fries and beer... what else could you ever need in life?. Other than the fact that the food here is ridiculously tasty (i am truly obsessed with the sweet potato fries), their choice of craft beers is so large and diverse, I swear even a non-beer drinker could find a beer they liked. The staff is really friendly and for all you Entourage fans, one of the bartenders is a true look-a-like...

Best beer selection in Manhattan, and they have GROWLERS!!!!!!!!. Fun atmosphere with a very cool local vibe. Has a dart board and buckhunter for those like me that like to play. Really great menu, I tried the short rib sandwhich...Awesome! just a really great place to hang out with cool people and drink amazing beer!

Great place to meet people.
AWESOME! My girlfriends and I love to go to this place on the weekends...it is a great scene includng the best jukebox that has EVERY song you ever loved! The food is great !(especially sweet potato fries)
Not to mention it is a great place to meet people as it always seems to be filled with young, fun people!

The Best East Village Happy Hour!. The beer selection was awesome and to get those same beers for $3 during Happy Hour was even more unbelievable. I was there towards the end of Happy Hour and couldn't believe how cheap this top notch beer was. They had a deal on sliders to $2 a piece!! I think the Happy Hour starts at 4 and goes to 7 I will definitely get there earlier next time. You have to checkout this East Village Beer Bar!!!!

beer ,beer, beer and then some. this place is a beer drinkers, heaven. they have numerous assorted beers from around the world. YOU CAN TRY ALL THE BEERS BY USING THIER 4 OZ. FLUTE SYSTEM. BUT IF YOUR ARE GOING TO "DRINK THE BOARD", MAKE SURE YOU ARE TAKING A CAB BECAUSE SOME OF THESE BEERS HAVE OVER 10% ALCOHOL. THE HEAD HONCHO ANDREW AND HIS STAFF MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE YOU ARE AT HOME , THE MINUTE YOU ENTER THE PLACE. ALSO COME HUNGRY, THEY HAVE A GREAT MENU WHICH INCLUDES SOME OF THE HOTTEST WINGS IVE EVER TRIED AND HANDS DOWN THE BEST MAC AND CHEESE. THIS PLACE IS A MUST SEE FOR EVERYONE. I PROMISE YOU A FUN EXPERIENCE.

The Best Mac & Cheese on the Planet!. West Coast Diva in da house with my girlfriend from Sunny So Cal. We felt the need to visit NYC on the coldest weekend of the year to hang with my local friends. We met the crew of about 15 at the East Village Tavern. Sal the bartender was so friendly and mixes a damn good drink. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, we felt right at home. We ordered a good sampling off the menu. The bar grub is unique and tasty and the Mac & Cheese is to die for! Please Fed Ex West! EVT will be a regular stop for me everytime I visit NYC and a must stop if you are touring the East Village. Thanks Sal, DJ M and Rob!

Best New Microbrew Bar in the Downtown Area!. Anyone who loves trying new and different microbrews and some fine food, both apps and dinners, will love the East Village Tavern. I started with a flight of 4 different beers which gave me a nice sampling of the dark beers on tap, found the one Iike best "Arcadia London Porter" it was excellent! I ordered some apps from the menu,try the quesadilla, while sipping my porter at the bar and enjoyed a nice relaxed atmospere. I found a great new bar with a revolving microbrew menu and an good place to grab a bite while enjoying some of the best microbrews in the downtown area.

Buy American!.
Stopped by the East Village Tavern last week to support the economy....sampled MANY American craft beers. I liked the "flights" offered where you can try 4 or 5 different beers for a reduced price. Bartender was quite knowledgeable and helped me along my patriotic journey. Stayed for some food and the sweet potato fries are amazing. We also the chicken sandwich and cheese steak, which was also quite good. Nice atmosphere and a decent crowd, but still easy to get a drink.
I'll be back!
