Being the absentminded person that I am, I locked myself out of my house twice. Fortunately, the guys from SOS Locksmith were able to come to my rescue. I don't remember the names of the locksmiths, but both of them were very friendly, fast and professional. I also think they have very reasonable prices. Highly recommend using these guys.

Last Friday Mark came in to replace the locks where I work and was very efficient and honest. He worked fast which is important because we were open for business and people are constantly in and out. He also took a lot of time to explain to us why the locks were giving us trouble and what we could do over time to keep them working even through the winter. We really appreciate his honesty and the work he did. I will definitely use SOS locksmith again in the future.

AMAZING!!! I must say this review is way past due. We're the owner of a clothing store and a few months someone broke a screwdriver in the door lock, We contacted our local locksmith service (SOS Locksmith)and within minutes they arrived and changed the lock and installed new ones for us. I really can't say enough about them. They are so on top of it, professional, friendly, and very reasonably priced. It really doesn't get any better!

I will recommend SOS Locksmith in a heartbeat.

I needed a new knob today because I am going out of town tomorrow and my husband didn't get to it. The guy came, installed both the knob and the deadbold, and even though it was difficult, he persevered so that I could have one key for both locks. It would have been much easier and much fewer trips up and down the two flights of stairs if he had only done the knob. I don't know if the price wasn't super cheap, but he was here a long time and it seemed fair. Especially since in the past, when I was locked out, the guy was here 20 minutes and it cost me a $100.00 more than SOS Locksmith

SOS Locksmith did a great job installing Home Security Systems and Intercom in my apartment, they provide me with the best service they can offer to anyone else. Reasonable, honest and trust worthy company! Highly recommended

Superb Service and Installation. These guys were extremely friendly and easy to talk to. They installed a sound-screen on my door and decreased the noise in the hallway by ~15% which was more than promised. I highly rcommend them for other such installations and will be recommending them to my friends for the future.

Great Service! Will Use Again. Moved into a new office in Chelsea/Midtown West and needed a deadbolt and mail slot. After i got a ridiculous quote from the locksmith my building uses i decided to reach out to SOS Locksmith which is across the street from my apartment. Their quote was reasonably priced, came on time, and installed the lock and mail slot beautifully. They even followed-up to see how everything was working when I came in to get copies. We will now ALWAYS be using SOS.

Please stay away. I went two weeks ago to get a key made. Got home, and it didnt work. Went back to S.O.S. a week later, and had it remade. Went home and again, didnt work. Returned for a third time (and I live far away), and I asked for a refund. I did not feel like returning for a fourth time and I was certain they were not going to be able to do it if two attempts already failed. When I asked for a refund, the Israeli short guy said "I hate when customers come in and try to change our policies....we don't give refunds". I explained that I had given them two chances already to get the $6 key made, and he said he didn't care. He said people come from out of State they are so good. I said I didn't want a store credit and did not feel like they should keep my money when they did not deliver what they promised. Not a hard concept to understand. Then he whipped out a hidden framed sign saying "no refunds" - not within clear view when most people are making their purchases. And then the drama really began when he accused me of having an attitude, that he was a former Israeli soldier and he wanted me to 'step outside and take care of me'. He got very loud and tried to act intimidating, ragefull, saying he was going to beat me up. The other staff in the store were really embarrased and tried to talk nicely to me, giving me the credit slip and appologizing for his behavior. I was told the owner was in Israel and unavailable. I taped the ordeal on my phone and all you hear is this ragefull man shouting at me for asking for a refund. I could not in good faith recommend that anyone pour their money into this establishment. There are plenty of reputable key cutters in the neighborhood who deserve the money they work hard for and still remember the meaning of professionality and customer service. If you go there and say the wrong thing, you may be threatened with physical violence like I was today. I don't recommend my friends shop were staff 'snap' and have anger management issues.
