Owner
NYcityStuff was founded in 2004 by Paul Kennedy. We started selling furniture and doing moving and deliveries on the side. Eventually the moving became so popular that NYcityVAN was founded in 2005. Our maid and handyman services debuted in 2007 and have been very well recieved throughout the boroughs. NYcityVAN was featured in NYmag's 'Best Bets' section in June 2007.

The best thing about NYcitySTUFF is having a one-stop resource for handyman of varying expertise, be it carpentry or electrical work. The people tend to be timely and professional, especially compared with others in the field. A very convenient service.
- Pros: reliability
- Cons: price
Great service and follow-up
by RPM at Citysearch
I contacted them in March '09 to assist with fixing the improper installation of a washer/dryer by a previous repairman in a very small closet in my kitchen. They were friendly, efficient, and provided great service. The unit worked fine but recently I noticed that it was leaking water. I contacted them again as the washing machine had given me an error message that said a hose was kinked. They came back and fixed this problem for no charge - that is standing behind your work! I would highly recommend them for any job you may have around the house/apartment.
- Pros: Stand behind their work
Best Value in Painting
by AliceW at Citysearch
They did a great job painting, repairing water damages and cracks. Edwin was professional, honest and flexible, making suggestions to save money without compromising too much on quality. I interviewed several other companies, and found Edwin to be the most knowledgeable. Although not the cheapest, I think definitely the best value given the quality of work. I'd use them again in a heartbeat.
- Pros: quality work, great service, flexible pricing
- Cons: a bit more expensive
Great Handyman Service
by akfak at Citysearch
Highly recommend. Handyman was a general contractor. Gave him 3 separate, unrelated jobs, he knew exactly what to do. Was friendly, very easy to work with and willingly went beyond was was required in order to get the job done right.
- Pros: Professional, Skilled, Efficient
- Cons: None
Best Handymen Around
by brooklynburbs at Citysearch
I would recommend these guys 1,000 times over. Punctual, clean, efficient, and quality work. We had them do a couple of jobs (TV mount, washer/dryer installation, old washer removal and door removal) and all were done great. We also are planning on having them install a chandelier and window treatments once they come in, which I know they will do perfectly! Really fantastic and very reasonable!!! A lifesaver if you are not too handy yourself!
- Pros: Punctual, Clean, Efficient, Quality Work
- Cons: NONE!
