I have been going to Gita for 20 years. Small, private, get away from the hustle and bustle of midtown and the Grand Central Station atmosphere of so many salons in NYC.Gita is a special person and she handpicks her staff very carefully. Even if you can't get Gita herself, you are in wonderful hands, whomever you may have.

A hidden pearl - top Spa in NYC. I am regular client of Gita Gabriel Spa. I used to go to Esthederm Spa's, when I lived in Paris. They referred me to her when I moved here 10 years ago. I did try a fair share of other spa's first, with whom I was not happy: I have a very sensitive reactive skin. I have never had any problems after a facial with Gita and her facials definetely reduces breakouts... . She keeps herself very uptodate on treatments and newest finds on products. More, you exit looking better then when you entered - not all red spotted in your face, and my hair always stays clean afterwards. The other part of it is the psychological: the spa is very quiet,calm,relaxing. A real minivacation when you do not have time for it! m

The Best Salon.... I have been a client of Gita's for some 20 years and seriously don't know what I would do without her. I basically get skin care treatments to help with my adult acne, and Gita has the experience, know how and and patience to help keep my skin under control. She is head and shoulders above any other facialist I've been to. I also love the salon. It's boutique and very professional, and Gita has an eye for hiring the best people to work there. Judith and Mya, two of Gita's associates I have been to for manicures and pedicures, are awesome, I even got a compliment on my pedicure three weeks after having been there! My next step is to have Mya do threading on my lip and chin and eyebrows. I wish I could send all of my friends a gift certificate to Gita's salon.

AMAZING FACIALS and so much more. Gita's facials are incredible. She got my skin in perfect condition before my wedding. I knew with Gita's expertise, my skin would be glowing and blemish free for the big day and that was the last thing I wanted to worry about. She instantly makes you feel at home in her salon as if you have been a client forever.She knows exactly what to recommend for your skin type and is always right. She is also on the cutting edge of the latest technologies in treatments and products and only offers the best of the best to her clients. Her foot reflexology during a facial is a bonus treatment too. Gita's new diamond facial is really a skincare treat- its a new form of microdermabrasion that leaves your skin so soft and smooth. After I had this treatment, I got my haircut and the stylist exclaimed that my skin looked amazing (no makeup on either)! That is a true testament to Gita's ability. She is the best.
