I am fairly new to forest hills .i use to live downtown and needed to move back to queens due to price increases in manhattan ,I saw Maria for color as I was very nervous as to what to expect ,she wuz very professional ,came across as an artist with a very personable way so I'm gonna say being new to the area it wuz a great experience ...one thing I notice ,which I always look for is all of her clients around me who were coming and going were verry happy and looked great ...so I'm gonna give it a thumbs up ...I will be back ...now I just need to find a cutter

My hairdresser, Vicki, is the best hairdresser I have ever had. She understands my exact wishes about the style of the cut, and she also understands my hair, its character and condition. Every time I come out of there smiling and with lightness in my chest! I highly recommend Vicki, she'll make your hair dance.

EXCELLENT!. Let me first start by saying that I was a loyal customer of Spectrym until a couple of weeks ago when I scheduled a blow-out and when i showed up, it turns out the girl didnt really know what she was doing and I was still charged $36 plus tip for the lousy blow-out! She had two other people show her HOW to do it, if thats the case, why charge me full amount? and why lie to me over the phone when I asked if they had someone who was experienced at straightening hair/blow-outs!!!

today I was looking around Forest Hills looking at different salons and I walked into this one which is hidden a corner in Austin street. I didnt know what to expect! The receptionist was very friendly! She told me I could get a hair cut today no need to wait. My stylist was Giovanni. He gave me a lot of good advice and believe me, as a curly-haired girl, its NOT easy finding good stylists out there. I LOVE my new haircut! It is exactly what I wanted! I am definitely coming back!Thank you Giovanni!!

Lovely place. I've been here several times in the last few years, and I am always pleased with the results. Everyone seems to walk out with hair worthy of a shampoo commercial, regardless of which stylist they see. The stylists are also very friendly and accommodating. I would continue going here but they are slightly over my budget (I'm a college student who works part time, so spending around $65-$70, after tip, is just too much for the typical "every 8 weeks" wash, cut and blowdry). But I would still recommend this place in a heartbeat, and look forward to a pay raise so I can go right back!
