Don't even think about to go there.
by brooklyn4ever
If someone recommend you this place, she probably pay for her treatment with CASH.
Don’t even think to buy deal on livingsocial, if you did return it as soon as can.
Once you’d mention your coupon you have to wait for first appointment for ages. Feels like receptionist most happy to say: “We are fully booked for next 3-4 weeks”. Yes, word “Sorry” not in his vocabulary.
Not worth it. Look somewhere else.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

PLEASE READ MY REVIEW!
Dr. Kerns has no real aesthetic background, she is allegedly an anesthesiologist from Romania. I went in for a filler (juvederm) and was quoted for $500 for it. I walked in and a 20 year old assistant in training starts to perform the injection in my lips. I kept telling Dr. Kerns, that I felt uncomfortable having some young nurse in training do this, (she sucked and was terribly nervous), so kerns finished off my lips and nasolabial folds. Well its over one year now, and I have completely assymetrical deformed lips. Not only did I bruise tremendously after the procedure (I looked like I was in a boxing match, and I NEVER bruise). but there were so many pearly lumps that were visible, and made the top of my lip bulge on one part. The office looked dirty, frankly, she was classless and ghetto, and had no bedside manner. She reminds me of an eastern european esthetician who is very obviously out to rip you off. As I walked out, shocked and angry, she told me my total was $650, because the $500 deal applied only if it was cash and that figure was "pre-tax." What kind of damn taxes are you charging?!! I really never have had issues with fillers, and I am a pretty easy going person that rarely ever complains.. but I left in tears, and I really want to warn anyone who is even considering going to her! I went to another real plastic surgeon months after who told me the substance used was FAKE JUVEDERM, since he had seen 2-3 cases of medi-spa victims who went to places where they've used counterfeit fillers--- & To make matters worse- my sister had lip filler with her too and developed a near deadly staph infection on her face that made her look like Hitch!!! DR. Kerns is TERRIBLE and is not even a real doctor!!!! STAY AWAY!
Excellent, professional boutique-like spa

If you are looking for an intimate salon / medi-spa that feels like you're a welcome guest in a close friends private apartment, then Orchid Aesthetics is the place for you.
Located just off tony Central Park West, this cozy little oasis from the hustle and bustle of the UWS is where you'll find many of the services offered in larger spas, but with a personal touch.
Dr. Kerns takes the time to ask what you're looking for in a treatment and then explains what each product or procedure can do for you. I felt 100% confident by the time it came to inject my Botox and her deft hands and artistic eye did not disappoint. I will DEFINITELY be back again!!!
False Advertising
by Reviewing Customer
I bought a package for laser hair removal, and checked out Orchid Aesthetic's website, which described their hair removal procedures as "laser hair removal", and made no mention of intense pulsed light (IPL) technology. When I went to my first appointment, my general experience was fine, but I realized that they used a machine that utilizes IPL for hair removal. IPL is a widely accepted method of hair removal, but I dislike the false advertising. Either Orchid Aesthetics was intentionally misleading or Orchid Aesthetics does not fully understand the technology they are using. Either way I do not wish to return.
