FANTASTIC!. WHOEVER DOESNT GIVE THIS PLACE A FIVE STAR RATING MUST BE NUTS! THE FOOD IS OUT OF THIS WORLD, VERY FRESH AND ALL THE MEATS ARE TENDER AND JUICY. APPETIZERS THAT WE TRIED WERE ALL EXCELLENT! BELLY DANCERS WERE ALSO THERE ON SATURDAY NIGHT WITH LIVE MUSIC AS WELL, PLACE WAS PACKED EVEN LATE @ NIGHT. ONE OF THE BEST RESTAURANTS IN NYC.

Al Diwan, Amazing Food. This restaurant has exquisite Lebanese food. The staff is very friendly. The dim lights make it very romantic which sets a perfect scene for the belly dancers on Friday and Saturday nights. Hookahs are available if you like to smoke. My wife and I have been there multiple times since we found it over a year ago. We brought family and friends there and they loved it just as much as we do. I recommend Al Diwan to anybody and everybody who is looking for good food, a great atmosphere and beautiful entertainment.

Wonderful Gem of a Restaurant/Lounge in NYC. Last Friday, I was fortunate enough to stumble upon this excellent restaurant/lounge, and above all, a mecca of classy, sophisticated entertainment. Nestled humbly in Alphabet City/East Village, we were truly delighted to discover this jewel.

As a culinary experience, you will not be disappointed. The food is as delicious as it gets -- presented with care but with the rustic flavors of a home-cooked meal. The service is also attentive and friendly.

Even better, live musical entertainment courtesy of talented singers (last Friday, Abdou al Asmar was the artist performing) creates a wonderful energy and culturally authentic experience.

In addition to A+ Lebanese/Middle Eastern food and impressive entertainment, my friends and I also enjoyed some Hookah until the restaurant/lounge closed. We were never rushed and felt very much at home.

We loved this spot so much that we are returning this week to savor more of the food (limitless options!) and enjoy the show. You will not be disappointed either. Finally, something real, exciting and refreshing in NYC -- highly recommended.

Healthy food and a good time. I've been to Al Diwan way too many times this past year. First I went there with family members to have a nice lunch and wow! what great food. The appetizers are the best in town, especially their hummus and the feta wrapped in filo bread- they are to die for! I've also been there at night time on a Saturday night, they had a belly dancer, everyone was dancing the night away. a great party place on the weekends.

The best Mediterranean/Lebanese dining experience ever.. This one has it all. I went there with a big group last Saturday for my birthday. We had a great time and after all it was a blast and we had the best Lebanese dining experience ever. The food was amazing tabbouleh, hummos, authentic delicious Lebanese grilled dishes. Their hookah is great as well. The music, atmosphere, and the service are all excellent. I will definitely recommend this one.
