AWARD WINNING WORST WAX!! DO NOT WASTE $$$!!. I purchased a brazilian wax through the lifebooker site for $20 and it was the worst $20 bucks i ever spent!! The only positives about this place was the discounted price and their location. First off I've been waxing for a few years now so i'm pretty sure i can tell the difference between a good one and horrible this was definitely horrible- NO BABY POWDER- VERY ROUGH/ PAINFUL-RUDE- AND RUSHED! This was thE first time i've had a wax UNDER 10 MINUTES! Seriously?? She literally splashed HOT wax on me and ripped -no soothing, calming techniques AND DOUBLE DIPPING WITH THE WAX STICK MIGHT I ADD!! Not even a little baby oil or powder at the end" just wax pull get dressed and pay me" ugghhhhh FYI SPEND DA EXTRA BUCKS FOR BETTER SERVICE ELSEWHERE!!!

Unsanitary! Do not go!. I wish I would have read the previous review before I visited this salon. I am a regular waxer who decided to try a new place to save money. Biggest mistake I ever made. Not only did I leave red and swollen, but two weeks later I went to the doctor with an infection resulting from this visit. Please do yourself a favor and spend the extra money go somewhere with a no double dipping policy and sanitary conditions.

unsanitary and painful. I left my brazilian appointment bruised and bleeding. Eliana, who waxed me, had no idea what she was doing.

First, she waxed the same areas over and over again, and eventually made me bleed.

Then even after she made me bleed, she tried to keep waxing the the same area again, and double-dipped. So think about it - even if you get someone who knows what they're doing here, they're using wax that is potentially tainted with blood and other contaminants. I am certainly never coming back here.

They even looked at me like I was crazy when I requested disposable underwear – a comforting sanitary measure I’ve been given at other salons.

Lastly, she didn’t ask at the beginning if I wanted a “landing strip” left, so right before she started waxing, but admittedly right after she had applied the first bit of wax, I told her. What she left was a sad, asymmetrical patch of hair to the left of my pubic area.

Unless this place seriously makes some changes, it’s not only painful, but also dangerous. I’m even thinking of contacting the department of health.

just best!!!!. I had searched the best places for brazillian waxes in NYC online, and I found some reviews about AR waxing salon, so I decided to give them a try. I had been to plenty waxing salons and each time it was painful and plus extremely expensive. So I went to AR waxing salon and met a nice lady, Riva. I had the best time, she didn't hurt and it was pretty much quick and painless. She is awesome, so go see her!!! Since I have found this place I get my monthly brazilian wax here.

the best and the most convient service!. I`ve always done waxing here. It`s the best waxing place in the city. Now it would be even more convinient because they are starting nail service, so I can get done everything at once! Super thanks!!

best waxing salon. After moving to New York a few months ago, I was reluctant to go through the pain of finding a good salon for my wax. After reading the reviews on citysearch, I made an appointment at AR waxing salon. The salon itself is incredible. Warm colors, a warm glow, relaxing music, leather couches and a friendly, professional staff make you feel so comfortable. Rachel went right to work and removed every single hair. She was professional, quick, thorough and very friendly. She used a chocolate wax, which is less painful and (I think) longer lasting. Best of all, I didn't have the usual after-waxing irritiation and minimal ingrown hairs. These ladies know what they're doing. Thank you,ladies!!!

Best face threading!!!!!. I have been going to AR salon since they have been open. I do my full face threading. I know they do the best job for my brows and face. Moreover they make all the clients feel like they are best friends.

i will be back for sure. At my first visit, I was so much impressed with the warm and inviting atmosphere. It just puts you so much at ease. It was a wonderful experience. I really enjoyed the service and the staff was excellent in explaining the services offered. I signed up for a package that they offer. I look forward to going there every month. Thank you so much for a wonderful time.

Book in advance. Summer is coming very soon, every girl wants to be hair free. If you have never tried a bikini or brazilian wax, and you want to, I suggest going to this waxing salon. I had Roza she made me feel like an old friend from the begining, my experience was so enjoyable. She was quick, and as pain free as a wax could get! Just make sure to make an appoinment asap, she is a busy one!

Loved it. I made an appoinntement at AR WAXING SALON for my Brazilian wax and was scared a little bit cuz it was my first time. But when I got there the atmosphere and the very kind staff calmed me down and I thought the experience was delightful. I strongly recommend everyone go to AR WAXING/THREADING SALON, they are wonderful there.
