WONDERFUL VET! Really helpful.

My boyfriend's very elderly Chow Chow was in kidney failure and increasingly sick. When she started to have horrible seizures one weekend I called our vet in a panic to ask if they could recommend someone good to euthanize her. Our vet had very few people to recommend -- especially someone who could make a house call on a holiday weekend. They told me it might not be possible but to try Dr. Frucht. When I left a message for her telling her the situation and how much we didn't want the dog to suffer she called me back immediately and agreed to come right away to help us. She was amazing. Clearly she had had a long day at the clinic where she works but she was so compassionate and patient and spent so much time making sure the dog was as comfortable as possible. I was incredibly relieved because she was very skilled as well and I know without a doubt that the dog felt no pain during the procedure. Dr. Frucht was amazing. I am very, very grateful to her and recommend her highly.

good with people and animals. very reliable.

We switched to Dr. Frucht a couple of years ago, as we wanted a vet who made house calls. The cost is not higher and it is much more convenient or us and less stressful for our elderly cats.

Dr. Frucht is very caring. We have found her to be reliable and available as well. She never rushes through an appointment and always addresses all concerns and answers all questions.

She is a very reasonable and rational person, which is what you want in a vet, especially if you have elderly animals.

Dr. Frucht is excellent.

EXCEPTIONAL VET, CONSCIENTIOUS, CARING, KNOWLEDGEABLE

Dr. Avra Frucht has answered my calls many times and made herself available, coming to my home at all hours, day and night. On all occasions, my dog received the most professional care and treatment, the most conscientious advice. Everything was done with a loving touch, a soft word, a delicate handling. There was never any panic in her tone or her handling of the situation. Just a calming and intelligent response. In all the times I called, my dog was given the very best care possible. As far as cost, her visits to the house were less than I would have incurred had I brought my dog into a vet's office. In addition, she has been very considerate as far as a payment plan. I have used other vets for my previous dog. They were good vets, some better than others.. But they weren't Dr. Avra Frucht. My dog is very fortunate to have her as his vet. And he knows it. She is the only vet I would use, period.

GREAT DOCTOR

I found Dr. Frucht on Citysearch a few years ago through someone who worked for an A-list celebrity. She told me that Dr. Frucht works on her dog so I knew that my little baby would be well taken care of. Dr. Frucht is so gentle with her and she always calms me down when I think the absolute worst is happening. I'd highly recommend that you use her for your babies!

I would never use Dr. Frucht again. She was not available when I needed her. She seems very disorganized.
