A salon and a cafe make this more than just a shopping destination.
The Goods
Four floors of men's and women's designer apparel, from casual to office wear, with each collection in its own separate space. Men's fashions include designs by Helmut Lang, Ralph Lauren, noho, Luciano Barbera and Brioni; for women, there's Jil Sander, Betty's Room, Ieri e Domani and Apothecary cosmetics, among others. Expect to spend from $200 to $500 for most pieces--even T-shirts are in the $100 range.

Louis Boston is a Nice store with great & knowledgeable staff. The clothes are nice but way overpriced. However there are a few weeks a year when it's worth it. "Louis Sale" which is the 1st week after New years & The 1st week after July 4. All the products on the floor go to 50% OFF! These are the only times anybody should shop at Louis. Even at 50 off the prices are still high. They also sell there unsold Sale pieces to Filene's Basement, so keep your eyes open and look for the Louis Tag next time your at Filenes in Newton

This place was hip a one time. Not any more. What happened? Don't waste your time just go to Barneys.
