My visit to NYC. This place is great! I was looking for a place to take my girlfriend to eat since she loves italian food and i saw this place on citysearch. It had pretty good reviews so i made our reservation. When we arrived at the restaurant we were seated promptly and our food arrived fast. My girlfriend wasnt blown away by her dish, she said her chicken was a little dry. But she was taken by the romantic atmosphere and friendly service. I loved the food however and the service was great. One thing that stuck out was how attentive the staff was. As i was taking my final sip of water, before i could put the glass on the table the waitress came over and offered me a refill. another thing that i really appreciated was when i was taking a picture of my girlfriend and she took a picture of me the same waitress came over and offered to take our picture together.

the food was pretty good. I cant remember the exact name of the desert i got with my pre fixe dinner but i must say it was beyond delicious! It started with fragolino but had another word i cant remember at the moment. I was kinda upset that i could only eat two scoops of it because I was full from dinner and we had just came from the movies where i had a huge serving of nachos and a ginormous coke.

Overall i Thought this was a pretty good experience. the only thing that bothered me was that it seemed this place wasn't booming with business. this is a really great restaurant.

Best Italian Restaurant. Me and my husband were going to a broadway show Sunday afternoon and after the show we walked down 9th avenue where Fragolino caught our attention...We decided to have an early dinner there and the atmoshere was very romantic and cozy. We had the eggplant rollatini for an appetizer and I had the chicken parmigiano for my main course which I can honestly say was the best italian dinner I have ever had..The tiramisu topped it off and we left the restaurant very satified, with the food, service and decor. I will be returning soon. I recommend it to all my friends and family you'll definetely find it worthwile.

Tasty & Cozy. My husband and I loved this cozy Italian place. They have an excellent cheese platter appetizer and crisp salad that were great starters. My husband loved his risotto and shrimp main course. Def recommend for anyone to go anytime of the week for a nice dinner in the city.

OUTSTANDING. I was walking down 9th Ave with my wife checking the restaurants to find a nice place for dinner. I found this place looking very atractive and cozy , with candles in every spot , very beautyfull decorated , soft music creating a very romantic atmosphere. The host very friendly invited us in and even offered us a 10% discount for our dinner. We ordered and after not even 5 min we had it on the table ,very tasty and fresh like my mother use to do it. The cocktails were outstanding served the way you ordered , extraordinary !! The staff was very friendly and helpfull paying attention to every detail. I really felt very good in this place and i will deffenetly go back to Fragolino when ever I'll have a chance . I recomand this restaurant to ANYBODY who wants to have an outstanding dinner in NYC.

regular place. The modern, trendy logo seemed slightly at odds with intimate, close-packed interior, so I was curious to try the food. Quality of pizza base is always a good barometer for this type of venue, and the garlic pizza bread I demolished with my gnocchi was excellent; soft, doughy base, chewy but not soggy. My tomato and mozarella gnocchi was also a success; not the heaviest gnocchi on the planet, but creamy and flavoursome, rich but not overpowering. Accompanied by a mixed salad (crisp leaves, perhaps needed a firmer shake to dry them out though - and perhaps some oil options) - I enjoyed my meal from start to finish.

not great. i went here for dinner, and when we walked in 2 tables were occupied. I asked to be seating with my back to wall (there were atleast 12 small open tables there) and the guy said he couldnt because a huge group was coming in 20 min, so he seated us at a small table against the wall (i hate when people keep walking past while you are eating). we ate there for over an hour and no huge group came in, a group of 8 came and took up some of the table (some were still empty). the food was only OK.. they gave me old worn and small dinner napkins (when i looked around everyone else has nice ones). i wouldnt go again.

Average!. I was there last saturday with my collagues and it was just OK. average food average ambiance and average prices.

Great Lunch Spot. I work in the area and enjoy coming to Fragolino for lunch. The Prix Fixe is a great deal. They staff is super nice and food is really good. I have not het been for dinner, but would recommend the restaurant to anyone looking for some good Italian food.
