The rolls were amazing! They open late and the waitstaff and bartender are very helpful and welcoming. I plan to bring my friends here because they have big tables and even a special glass room. Definetly a spot to check out on St. Marks!

Boka has a fresh, young and warm ambiance with its exposed bricks and dark wood. Walked in randomly and the waiter was very helpful and cute = ). The food was prompt and great. The cocktails were very good and fun! Space was spacious and great for big groups. Service was perfect! A diamond in the rough on St. Marks!

Very Rude and Inconsiderate Manners

VERY RUDE AND INCONSIDERATE.

On the New Year?s Eve night, my friends and I went there to take out some foods. Maybe it was because of the bad economy or icy cold weather, the restaurant was half empty. But, since I?ve been there for several times, I knew our food would take about 20min. no matter it?s busy or not. So we started to wait seating on the empty chairs. After 30 min., the food wasn?t ready, but it was ok with us because we were having so much fun talking to each other. After 50min. we felt like it takes too long, so we asked a waitress who was at the counter that if our food is ready. She said in very rude voice "I was keeping my eyes on the timer since you ordered, but it?s not even passing 20minutes yet.? (In Korean) It was very impolite and very not waitress like. We were like dah!!! We looked at each other and were like ?Oh my god! What she just said?? Then we looked at our receipt that was given to us when we ordered our food, and it was of course more than about 50 minutes ago. She should?ve just said that ?the food isn?t ready yet, sorry?. And we would be totally fine with it. We were so angry because of what the IMPOLITE WAITRESS said but not the long waiting time. I wanted to tell the manager, but hey! It was New Year?s Eve and they were working--;

I know the BonChon chicken restaurants are growing all around in the New York City with its unique

and tasty Korean recipes, and I?m so proud of it. However, the manners and politeness for the customers are way too far to grow. I don?t know if they even teach the basic manners.

Personal management needed!! Especially to teach how to say to customers.
