Tender Juicy Roast Pork Sandwich. Chinese like roast pig and when this sandwich shop opens, I know I am going to love it no matter what. I saw this huge rack of roast pig on display and I gave in right there.

Porchetta uses high quality bread and they give you a generous portion of roast pork. It immediately reminds me of the Chinese roast pork in Chinatown, so tender and juicy.

It does not have extra sauce or toppings. It is simply a pork sandwich, nothing else. However, it is truly amazing and if you like pork, come to Porchetta!

Porchetta is sublime. Simple food done right. The pork is delicious! The herbs are perfect and the ratio of crispy skin to juicy pork is sublime.

I could eat their food almost every day. A little pricey but so worth it!

Porchetta is a project that shows singular clarity and focus of mind. It has no furniture, no menu, no service, no amenities. All it has are pork sandwiches, overloaded into fresh loaves of Italian bread and served with or without equally porky potatoes and some greens. There's no beer, but gourmet sodas, and you can always grab a beer at a nearby bodega.
