regretful brunch

First and last time we go to Via Dei Mille. Our salads were missing one of the most appealing ingredients, the cheese. The waiter only after a while asked us about the drinks. We were the only one who did not get the bread for some reason. My partner ordered chicken which was not cooked through. Nobody during the all brunch ever asked us how was everything.Meanwhile what it is called the "staff" was just hanging around and have fun. In conclusion they also added 20% of service even we were just two!!!!! RIDICULOUS!!!! no way i would give them even 16%!!!

Via dei Mille's YUMMY brunch!

I live around the area and always walk by Via dei Mille and hear music coming out of the doors. I've always wanted to stop by, but everytime I'm wandering the streets, I'm not in appropriate attire (sweatpants and a tshirt). One weekend, I decided to get all doll'ed up to go to the brunch party they have. I got there around 3pm, the place was starting to fill up. Before I got anything to drink, I needed to get some food in my belly, so my friends and I sat down at a table and ordered pancakes with bananas and strawberries and steak and eggs. Oh dear lord, it was so good. The steak and eggs were nothing like I've ever had before and the banana and strawberry pancakes were so soft and delectable.

The music started to get louder around 4, so after we finished eating, we decided to drink and dance! Once the music comes on full-speed, they closed the blinds and it was like a night club! I had so much fun, I don't even remember what time I left the restaurant. All I know, is that it was dark out and when I went in, it was daylight. Where did the time go? We are for sure going to drop in again another weekend.

• Cons: Only happens two days of the week :(

GREAT RESTAURANT

The first time I went to Via dei Mille was on a Saturday in the beginning of April for my friends birthday. They have an excellent Brunch menu, I got the kobe beef burger-SO GOOD! My friends and I stayed for 5 hours eating, drinking and dancing it was great. I went back 2 weeks ago during the week for happy hour, they have $5 drinks and they even gave my friend and I a free appetizer with our drinks. We ended up staying for dinner and sharing a generous portion of the fritto misto along with the linguine and clams and the Branzino. The waiters couldn't have been nicer and all of the food was wonderful. It's a great spot, definitely recommend it.

Fabulous Dinner!

I had a groupon for this restuarant so I decided to invite some family to dinner. I was a little nervous because my last groupon experience at a restaurant was NOT good (however, groupon did apologize and refund part of my money). The waiter was really great, attentive. The food was delicious. There were also comments about the art on the wall from my table but ehh, didn't bother me. All in all, would definitely return.

• Cons: music was too loud

good food, good service

I gave this place a try the other night and thought it was pretty good. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was quite good. The appetizers we had were the veal meatballs and the fried calamari, both tasty. The pasta bolognese was very good and the person I was with had the daily special pasta with pears and cheese and he liked his very much too. I wasn't totally crazy about the atmosphere (music was much too loud and I didn't especially love the art on the walls) but overall it was a good meal.
