Gluten Free Beer

I wrote a similar review for the Village Pourhouse downtown, my usual bar in the city, but on the managers suggestion I tried their uptown location. The main draw for me is that carry Redbridge, a Gluten Free Beer, which is very hard to find in the city. I found the uptown location to be right on par. The food was great and the staff was very friendly. I will definitely be back!

Beware Credit Card Theft!

This is a good bar for catching the football games. The staff is really friendly, the beer prices are decent, and the food looked/smelled good (I didn't order any this time, but was very tempted.)
The tv's are good, and they have all of the games. I will definitely return...but will ONLY pay cash there as someone stole my credit card information from this bar.
I never use this particular credit card, and one day after using this card at the Pourhouse, it became active with fraudulent charges. Someone had taken my information (cc #/exp date/etc.) and generated their own credit card, and went on a spending spree.
To the management's credit, they were very concerned about this issue when I advised them of what happened, and I can't blame them or the bar owners for some jerk's actions. But I CAN warn others...give them cash only! Don't give them your credit card...someone on that staff is a thief. I will have all of the charges this jerk made on my card reimbursed by my bank -- I'm lucky to have a good bank that takes care of me for fraudulent charges -- but YOU might not be so lucky, and why risk it?!
So in summation...go...enjoy...be merry...just don't use your credit card!

Best Uptown Bar with Great Staff/Management

Bar Staff was very friendly and the drinks/food are well priced. Lots of space and plenty of TV's for a sports fan like myself. Wait Staff was very pleasant and the Manager even paid special attention to my friends and I. It's definitely my favorite place to go when I'm uptown.
