I love this BARRRRR. This place is so great. Big spacious area with tons of room to have parties and to eat and drink and hang out. I am so glad they opened this new place. It is my new home

Hot new spot on the UWS!. I've lived up on the UWS my whole life and have seen the space where the Village Pourhouse now lies go through many interesting fazes. While I am sure we all have fond or at least interesting memories of Soha's, Mona's and even Roadhouse I have to say The Village Pourhouse is a welcomed new addition. The beer selection is large and the staff has been helpful with suggestions and favorites. The food is typical bar fare but well exicuted. And generally the space is clean and safe which is certainly a change from is previous owners. Every time I've gone there I've always had a good time partially I think because the staff always seems to be having a good time. You have to have fun when even the people who are working there are enjoying themselves! I am all for bouncing all over the city and taking in all the different neighborhoods but when I am staying local this is definately one of my new favorite places to be! (PS Tuesday nights they have 1/2 off well drinks and apps from 10pm-closing! A great deal!)

Awesome New Bar. The new Pourhouse opened up here a couple of months ago and ever since, it has become a staple for me and my friends. It has a lot of tvs, great beer, and good food. They also have all of the games fun for groups- rockband, wii, etc.

Big, Great Space. This bar is spacious and nice- unlike a lot of other places on UWS. You can come here and play rockband, wii, etc. It is a great addition to the area.

Free Cab. I read in nymag that they were offering to match peoples cab fare with a bar tab. I thought it was too good to be true so I went on my way home this past Saturday... I can vouch- they really are doing it. I think it is a great idea- my liver might disagree though.

Great Place to Spend your Sunday's !!. Yesterday me and a group of 5 friends came here to watch the Giants game. The space is nice, great views from everywhere of the games, large selection of beer and very friendly staff. We had death wings which were Amazing!! We have found our new spot for Sunday's and were all planning on being there for the De La Hoya fight on PPV too!

awesome sports bar!. my friends and i love this place! we had so much fun on thursday night playing beer pong! the place is HUGE! the bartenders are really cool and they have a huge selection of beer. i'm not really into sports, but they have a lot of tvs and play lots of different games. i'd say the only drawback is that it gets a bit crowded

A real sports bar....finally!. I have been waiting for a decent sports bar above 96th street and finally the Pourhouse arrived. While it took them a long time to get a full menu, I hear that they finally did, but havn't tried it yet. What I like is all the TV's they have and all the NFL games they can show at one time. The place is huge and is easily the biggest place in the 'hood. They also have like 100 beers or something which is cool, but I just drink bud's and watch the games. The place gets a little loud and crowed on the weekend nights and I dont' like that. But as for watching football, I can't find a better place in the whole area where I can sit and actually see at least 3 or 4 games at once....it's awesome. Oh, the bartenders are all girls too.....perfect for a sports bar and me. Go in and ask for Danielle....she's the best.

Welcome to UWS. As a student at Columbia, it is nice to see a bar in the neighborhood that is spacious and has good beer. Seems like a good place to watch the game, but I haven't been on a weekend yet. So happy to have a nice new place.
