Best Sushi in NYC. This is the best sushi restaurant that I have ever been to and I have been to many sushi restaurants in the 10 years that i have been living in the city. They have very unique entrees. They have prepared for me dished that I have never seen before. The chef's are excellent. It is well worth the trip down to the LES.

Hidden gem in alphabet city. I first went to Fu sushi with e group of girlfriends last month and have been back 3 times since. The place is an awesome go-to spot - small, intimate, with cheerful green paint on the walls. As other reviewers mentioned they don't have a liquor license yet so remember to bring your own. The service is top-notch- our waitress has always been friendly, efficient, and offered great suggestions. The owner, Fu, goes out of his way every single time to make sure we are enjoying ourselves. I brought my friend who is a 100% raw organic vegan, and even though she didn't end up being able to eat anything besides the edamame, Fu tried his absolute hardest to accomodate her.

I'm so impressed with this place. If you go, try the shrimp shumai, pan-seared veggie dumplings, and spicy green roll.

GREAT FOOD ON B BUT DESERVES AN A++. Came here for a friend's birthday dinner and had an amazing time. The service was impeccable and the food was even more amazing. Sushi was fresh and hot dishes were delicious. Highly recommend this place for anyone with any kind of budget. Prices were very reasonable and everything came out on time and delish...

A Wonderful Dining Experience!. My friends and I wanted to party down in the East Village so we decided to start off the night by grabbing some sushi in the neighborhood then go to the Karaoke place around the corner (I guess we had ourselves a little Asian Night). There are a lot of places to choose from down there but this place had an intimate and hip vibe so we decided to give it a shot. Let me tell you, we were not disappointed! From the moment we sat down the service was very attentive and friendly. I was told that they didn't have a liquor license yet so I ran to the liquor store right up the street to buy some sake and the waitress heated it up for us and made sure our glasses were never empty. The presentation of the food made us think we were in a more expensive upscale restaurant but the prices are very reasonable and the sushi is very fresh. They had more choices for dessert than most sushi places and we chose the fried ice cream (I always have fried ice cream if a place has it). It was great like everything else here. We finished off our night with the "green tea" which really is a great way to end the meal. Trust me, this place is a winner!

Awesome Sushi, Awesome Service. I came here for a friends going away party on Wednesday, and it was great! For having such a somber attitude towards the night, this place really perked us up! The service was by far the best I've had in a while and the sushi was very pretty look at, and my taste buds were happy too! The "green tea" was awesome! We (well, the 2 of us that are still here) will definately be making the trip back soon!

Place to go for sushi in Alphabet City. My friends and I wanted to check out the new addition to the neighborhood. The appetizers and sushi rolls were all great and reasonably priced. The owner and staff are friendly. Will definitely stop by again.
