Best Local Hangout on the Upper East Side. Dylan Murphy's is a great neighborhood bar with a relaxed, yet fun atmosphere. Their selection of beers and liquors, both domestic and imported, is impressive and the happy hour deals don't get any better. The bartenders are all pros who love what they do and are easy to have a conversation with which makes the whole experience that much more rewarding. The patrons are a lively bunch, many of whom are well-known by the owners since at least one of the two is usually present to make sure everyone's having a good time. The food is excellent! Their menu has a great variety of options, all delicious, but the wings definitely take home the gold and are my personal favorite (I recommend the hot wings!). Don't forget to check out the Nook Bar downstairs! It's a perfect spot for private parties. There are several flat-screen TV's around the bar which are great for viewing sports events and the staff are always happy to accommodate their customers with whatever event they want to watch. Touchtunes is added bonus so that you can pick your favorite songs to listen to.

I could go on, but in a nutshell, this spot is definitely worth checking out. Whether you're flying solo or with a big group of friends, you'll want to come back for more. Make it a priority to stop in, you won't regret it!

Wow they even have food now.... This place has always been my favorite bar by far on the UES. But its been a while since I've been in and now they have food....I mean really, really good food. By far the best wings in the area, great burgers, huge club sandwiches and have plenty of high top seating.

Great Upper East Side Local Hangout!. By far the best Irish Pub on the Upper East Side. Very down to earth atmosphere..Super friendly bartenders who obviously enjoy their job and actually WANT to be there...what a shocker!!

Always have big sports events on one of the many screens, but willing to accommodate those who want to watch something not so main stream which is much appreciated!! One of the two owners are typically always there and ensure that everyone who walks in their open doors have a great time. Great place to have a party (in the private room downstairs) or just sit at the bar enjoy a well poured Guinness!

Definitely worth checking out if you haven't yet...you won't be disappointed, unless your a stuck up douche!

Great Neighborhood Pub. Dylan Murphy's is an UES gem. The staff is welcoming and friendly and are really adept at having your next drink ready when you are. This is a great place for a relaxing drink on the way home from a day's work, to spend the evening/weekend watching sports, or to host a party. I've hosted happy hours and birthday parties at Dylan Murphy's and the owners really make you feel like they are there to make your event the best event ever. There is a bar downstairs called the Nook which is great if you want to host a completely private party. This is definitely one of my favorite pubs in Manhattan.

not just another Irish bar!. I'm obsessed with this bar, and it just keeps getting better. Bartenders are friendly, patrons are social and the Guiness is great! Lots of flat screen TVs, plenty of seating & good music... plus photo hunt & touchtunes! The downstairs bar is a hidden gem... definitely recommend.

Best Bar in the UES. I love this place! The atmosphere is very cozy and the bartenders are awesome! Anytime I go out with my friends I always make it a point to go here. We always have a good time! I think the Nook Bar downstairs is my favorite part. It'd be a great place to have a party.
