Funny Comedy Show!.
I've been to going to comedy clubs for quite some time in NYC and Eastville Comedy Club is my favorite club. I happen to live in the East Village. Our group purchase discount tickets from Best Comedy Tickets a local ticket agency for comedy clubs here in the city.
If you want to see a good quality comedy show then come to Eastville. Check out their website for upcoming comedians, and schedules. We saw Judah Friedlander from 30 rock he was hilarious!

Good Laugh is on Us.
I have been to Eastville like 4 times now and each time I had a great laugh. The line up here is pretty strong although I did see one of the comedians as a failure. Overall, they made me laugh all the way till the end.
We always seem to be able to get free tickets from Gold Star Events and the only thing we have to pay is 2 drinks min. The drinks here are very weak but that is not really important when you are having a good time.

Bargain entertainment.
Happened upon EastVille a few years ago. And have been back a number of times since.
Small enough venue that those who ought to be taunted, are. You know the type; groups of the too loud, too drunk, too annoying... trust the comedians find them and treat them appropriately.
The humor frequently leans to the snark. I know that's one of the things that keeps me coming back.
They do offer food. Can't vouch for it.
Their drink menu could use some expansion, but that being the only 'con' shouldn't keep you away.
This place is a bargain. Seriously.

David The Voice Stein and Nick Fraley were AMAZING. Loved it. Will go again. THe comedians were like an all star. The best two were David The Voice Stein and Nick Fraley

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL. One of the worst!. Our show at EastVille had NO HEADLINER and every comedian was terrible... didn't make anyone in our group laugh once. The place was dirty (which would be forgivable if the show was good) but it wasn't, so it wasn't. The comedian wouldn't get off the stage before asking us about 4-5 times if we had paid our bills, and then awkwardly left. I have been to almost every comedy club in the city, and I can tell you that this ranks among the absolute worst. Try the Comedy Cellar or Gotham for a decent show.
