the best tip you'll ever get about this place!. We are visiting from CA, and decided last Thursday to follow the concierge's advice and check out this RDV place.

The line was long, it was cold and the door was tough. we were thinking of going home (standing in the ny cold dressed all short and sexy is not pleasant!).

The concierge gave us the contacts of this guy Erez who works for the place, and we called him up. He met us outside, put us on the guest list, and before you know it we cut straight through the 30 minute line and walked right into the VIP area!! but that's not all- he sent over 2 free drinks during the night. we had a BLAST and partied till 6am. I've been going out for years and never had such a good experience.

my best and only advice for you: friend him on facebook and see what he has to offer you. his name on fb is erez j dimant, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Intimacy & Exclusivity permeate this Meatpacking Club. RDV has one of the best crowds of the NYC nightclubs right now. Hip, well-dressed, beautiful young adults flock to this new lounge in droves, but don't let the term fool you, there is nothing Loungy about it. High-energy mixes of hip-hop and house blast through a state of the art system as the room, decorated more like the sitting room of an old english estate than a a nightclub, thrives off the energy of its patrons.

The sunday party, aptly named, "Sunday School" is my favorite! They put DJ Chachi in there as a resident DJ and he absolutely crushes it with his impeccable mixes of house and hip-hop.

RDV is a must attend for anyone looking for a unique, classy, Meatpacking experience.

Excellent Evening. After dinner in the Meatpacking District me and a few friends headed over to RdV for after dinner drinks. The space is small but the doormen (well...doorwoman in RdV's case) let the right amount of people in so it never seems overly crowded. The music is a mix of hip-hop and house which is a good change from the top 40 music of other clubs. The staff is very friendly and not pretentious and the bar doesn't have a drink minimum which is always nice (unlike other clubs...Juliet). Its a great place to spend the night and I'll be returning soon!

Top Meatpacking District Lounge. This lounge was perfect for my group. No pressure to dance if you're timid, but by the end of the night don't expect to see anyone sitting! It was dimly lit, with enough lighting to see and be seen. The staff was extremely helpful. The vintage interior was a nice change from other top NYC nightlife venues that have more of a typical modern look. People danced and drank the night away on antique couches with velvety pillows, as the DJ played all the hits!

new york shopping: luxury moment at rdv. new york shopping: After using the new york shopping deluxe card, going to Rdv is a pure luxury moment for those who look for a unique place because they feel unique.

It's spacious. Very selective. But, in New York, only the selective gonna last. Don't talk about prices. It's rdv! Enjoy before going to Kissnfly for instance!

Great Scene. I came to RdV a few weekends back and I was pleasantly surprised. It was low-key, yet stylish and cool at the same time. It is a small room filled with lavish furniture, giving off a feeling of affluence from the moment you enter. A great way to spend the night in style.

Best Lounge I've Been To. The whole experience was great! Very tough door, but once you are inside, you can see why-- RdV is absolutely beautiful with a fun, classy, gorgeous crowd. It was nice to be able to get away from the average NYC nightclub scene and instead, spend my night in this elegant lounge. I recommend it to everyone- a must for those looking to feel and be treated like a million bucks!

Perfect Late-Night Lounge. If you're lucky enough to make it past the unmarked door and down the purple velvet steps, what you experience in RdV is luxury and exclusivity at its best. This hidden lounge is filled with the most beautiful people...I even saw a few celebs! The Old Hollywood vibe made me feel like I was a celebrity myself. In addition, the drinks were phenomenal. I tried one called the Miss Liberty that was made with a hibiscus flower (it was tasty AND strong!) 5 stars for sure!
