YAY for SPA WEEK!.
I WENT BACK!! I had a terrible headache and he was so great at concentrating on my head, neck and shoulders to work out all the tension, it was TERRIFIC! It released a lot of my tension I was expereicning. I am going back for their leg works special for Sept. Ill keep you posted!
So I went to the Spa Week website to get great deal and I came across DoritBaxter. They were offereing EXACTLY what I was looking for. A great facial for only $50 it was a great experience I hadnt had a facial in a while and really needed it! They were wonderful and it was a relaxing environment with excellent service. Oh and the fresh ice cold lemon water to quinch your thirst after being under all that steam ! My "facialist" was wonderful I winched, instinctively, who doesnt winch when someone is clearing black heads from the tip of your nose, and she immediately asked me if I was okay and moved to a different area to give me some recovery time! Even the part we all dread, extractions, were done so well there! And she mentioned a hydrating mask which was an extra $25 and I feel GREAT!! I figured with the winter I better hydrate my skin as best as I can. They are a full spa and I cant wait to go back for more. They even have a customer appreciation card and amazing products that I am going to go back to buy, and possibly a couple other treatments!! Full spa days that include lunch. DoritBaxter.... ITS A MUST!!!

20 Years and Counting!!.
Dorit Baxter was my first spa experience 20 years ago and I'm still a loyal customer....I've tried others, but always come back to the ease, comfort, professionalism, and coziness of Dorit's spa.
The staff knows and acknowledges me and I feel like I'm at an old friend's home, being treated like a queen. The prices are very competitive and worth it. I always recommend it and have given certificates to many a friends and family!
If you want to have a day to treat yourself, you should try Dorit Baxter spa. They have great prices and follow them on twitter for special deals daily!!

Reliably great spa experience.
I've been going to this family-owned and operated day spa for more than 10 years and I love it. Not only are the packages insanely reasonably priced (awesome gifts!), the people are lovely, talented, and wonderfully accommodating. I highly recommend Akiko for facials and Natasha for massage.
This place is tried and true. In 10 years, it has remained calm, cool and pristine. The location makes you feel like a princess, as you can look over 57th street from above in your robe. When family/friends visit, I bring them here (if they are good). LOVE it.

Treat.
LOVE this place!!!! I went there for the first time a few weeks ago for a spa package - facial, massage and manicure. I was greeted by the owner (she is a sweetheart) and the staff, all of which were very polite.
I liked the facilities and rooms and the spa had a very calm and cozy feel to it. I wasn't rushed or made to wait... the timing between each treatment was perfect.
I will be sure to go back soon ;-)

Best NY Spa. I have been going to Dorit Baxter for nearly 5 years now. Great first time experience for someone who have never had a facial. The staff and Dorit are excellent!!! You are made to feel special from the moment you walk into the door. All your needs are met. The environment is clean and very tranquil. Their salt scrub is to die for. Their facials are one of the best or the best that I ever had. Great skin analysis. You are left feeling refresh after a visit to this spa. They even do prenatal massages which i had the luxury to have during a visit in October. You can call anytime and they will try to fit you in. Even got my sister hook.

My Favorite Spa. My sister introduced me to Dorit Baxter as a birthday gift 2 years ago and it's been my favorite ever since. That was my first time at a spa but it wasn't my first time getting a facial. It was love at first sight. I got the sea salt scrub, which is phenomenal. A facial (which I only get done at Dorit Baxter now), and a one hour body massage. I left the spa so relaxed that I didn't do anything for the rest of the day. Lol. Not only do I love Dorit Baxter, but their facial products are the only ones that have worked best for my skin. Thank You, Dorit Baxter for your services. I actually have an appointment this Saturday :-)

LOVE LOVE LOVE. I have gone to DoritBaxter before and just went back yesterday! Everyone there is professional and personable. My massage was amazing, I could of gone for an extra hour! I also received a facial, my facialist was great, she recommended treatments that I can do at home for up keep at home. The prices are great, and they are always have package specials. I will be back to Dorit in the very near future!

A TRUE OUTERBODY EXPERIENCE.
I went to Dorit Baxter for a Full Day Chill out. I was so pleasantly surprised and left feeling like I was born yesterday. I had no waiting time at all! From one service to the next like they were all waiting for me.
My day started with a 2 hour intense workout at 6:00 am at my gym and then I gave myself this treat of the full day spa. My first treatment was a facial which left my skin so vibrant and then a great manicure and pedicure with a salt scrub. Lunch on the house, I ordered a grilled salmon and mash potatoes for lunch...yum. Lemon ice water and a cookie to wash it down..ok maybe 2 cookies:).
The second half of my day included a one hour massage, detoxifying herbal body wrap and body salt scrub...what a dream. I left dizzy from feeling so good.
It was a day full of mind, body and soul just for me. I am a mother of 2 small princesses and never really do anything like this. With a window of opportunity I took it and ran!

BEST of all the midtown spas.
This is my very very favorite place to be on almost any day. The services are superb and it's an incredible value! I would ABSOLUTELY reccomend it!! Do a package! Take a girlfriend (or boyrfriend) and spend the day!
