Ladies beware!

My sister and I threw a private party last year, I met one of the owners (Gus) who was a very nice guy. The problem is his friend/side kick Jon-Nicholas!! Gus, being a new owner told me that he would like to spread the word about the new ownership and if I would bring my friends on a weekend he would not charge us. There were no underhanded intentions, he really just wanted to re-introduce the place. Needless to say, he left the lounge b4 I can give my info to him, so his friend (who said he was a partner) took my name and number and has been stalking me eversince!! I have tried calling the lounge and haven't been able to get a hold of gus. Conclusion: lounge is very pretty, nice food, nice owner... But be careful and not give ur number to jon-nicholas for private parties or anything for that matter. He is a desperate man and will call and text 24hrs a day begging for u to date him!! I'm actually considering taking this to the police. Its unfortunate that my friends and I won't be able to go to living room lounge anymore! Gus u can thank Jon for that!

Thumbs Down

People in the neighborhood give this place a thumbs down. It is noisy almost every night of the week, trash and cigarette butts are often left on the sidewalk until they return the next evening. Customers urinate outside as they seem to not have enough bathrooms for them and neighbors often find the restaurant's garbage and bottles in their trash cans. Not the type of place wanted in any neighborhood.

I LOVE THIS PLACE

Dolce Vita is two blocks off Queens Boulevard on 43rd Street. It's so convenient for myself and my group of friends, we used to meet up at Cafe Moccha but since it closed - we had no fun place to hang out in the neigborhood - until we found Dolce Vita. It is practically our second home now.

They somethimes have different theme nights like arabic/belly dancing, latino or european, always keeping things fun and exciting, amazing cocktails and nice service.

It's so cozy and comfortable and we are really happy they are around!
