What a tragic disregard for the customer the owner has.

Purchased a Groupon, like many others. It stated clearly that the deal was not good on Valentine's nor Mother's Day, which is understandable. Called on Feb 13th and left a message to make a reservation for 8pm on the 15th. Called again on the 14th and received the voicemail. Called on the 15th and finally got a person, who explained no vouchers would be accepted that evening, and that they had been too busy to respond to phonecalls. I suppose they had hoped to tell me this once I was already on premises? As this clearly breaches their contract with Groupon holders, I asked to speak to a manager, and was told I would be called back. After waiting 2 hours, I called myself again. Ian was an extremely courteous person (despite not calling me back, admittedly), and explained that an error had been made and it was supposed to say all Valentine's weekend. He offered a $45/person Valentine's deal, but explained that the owner was not budging despite the error. I declined.

I find it revolting when an owner so values his own bottom line that he disregards well-meaning customers. I live locally. I've always wanted to try this place; I visit Atlas Mall frequently. I'm literally dressed up now with no place to go. I will not patronize this establishment, and neither should you.

Fondue Fave!. I have been a fan of this restaurant for about 2 yrs now. Every time I go, I have a great experience. The food and the martini's are consistently yummy. The staff has been accommodating, friendly, and at times even humorous! We always opt for the Fondue Feast so we get a bit of everything! Never sat at a normal table, I always reserve a cabana for a more intimate dining experience. To be honest, that is my favorite part! We NEVER feel pressure to hurry from staff, which is also why I choose to go there. The experience as a whole is wonderful. Yes, it is pricy...and when they charged for cabana's I was pissed and refused to visit. However, I still love this place and recommend it all the time!

horrifying. This was the most horrifying dining experience I have ever had in my life. I used a groupon, followed the fine print, and they called the cops when I tried to redeem my groupon.

It's extremely embarrassing to have the cops called to your table in a restaurant when you've paid for your meal rightfully.

Also, the place smells like burning meat.

I wouldn't wish this restaurant on my worst enemy.

Great time. Great Experience. My friends and I went last Saturday around 10pm. I love the restaurant's design. We tried the savory and sweet fondue choices, both were delicious. The Dj was awesome. Music wasn't too loud, just about right. We could still hear ourselves talk and enjoy the music at the same time. After we ate, we walked over to the bar and tried variety of martini's. They were delicious as well. As we left, the owner told us about the different specials going on throughout the week. My girlfriend wants to stop by again on a Thursday for ladies night.

Being a resident of Glendale all my life, there has never been a classy dinner and drinks spot in this neighborhood. I'm glad my friends and I finally have a nice local spot to go to.

Wow. I can't believe the reviews on here, horrible

service? No, excellence above all things. My evening was one that i would never forget. My server was out of this world. I've gone to many places to dine, and service has never been as sharp as Simply Fondue, waiter was so helpful and informative through every step of our course of meal. Oh, the food delicious, very fresh. The best part was roasting our marshmellos over our flaming chocolate fondue, that was fun. So down to the review excellent overall. And its definitly a romantic atmoshere. Not a place if your so up tight, and in a rush. Our dinner took 2 hrs, but it was a great time spent with my friend. Try it at least once and decide for yourselves not on someones, review of their "horrible service"..

Horrible Experience. I arrived with my husband on a Saturday night at 10:30 only to be greeted by a hostess that didn't seem like she wanted to seat us. I should have left at that point. We were told there was a 15 minute wait but there were many empty seats. We waited at the bar for a half and hour and saw three couples leave. When I tried to find out when we would be seated there was no hostess and they said a manager would come out to see us. Another 15 minutes went by and no manager came out. We left annoyed and trying to find a place that was open to serve us. We went to Chilli's instead and had a great meal. The atmosphere is nice but they need to have better service. I suggest that nobody goes there because the service is poor and you just get ignored. I guess they don't need the business!

ok fondue, terrible service. i went with a group of 4 couples, we were seated quickly, and greeted by three waiters over 10 minutes before our drink orders were taken. We were served by two other waiters (even though the restaurant was empty) and then ignored once our fondue came out.

we weren't given napkins or forks, so we had to call out for a waiter to get us cutlery.

later, one of the fondue melters malfunctioned and began smoking and spitting at the table, and even though there were three waiters standing 10 feet away from us, and we made eye contact and called and waved for help, we were totally ignored. It took someone literally screaming 'help!!!' before someone came to assist us 2 minutes later, when we had already figured out how to unplug the machine.

later, someone came in to 'yell' at one of our party because he was leaning on a chair. "you don't want that $500 chair added to your bill, sweetheart, you better get off of it." we were all shocked at how rude the staff was.

of course, we were offered no apology from the staff, and to add insult to injury, they included an 18% gratuity to the bill.

the fondue was good, though not generous portions, especially compared to MeltingPot, and the restaurant is beautiful, but the servers are rude, unhelpful teenagers. bad service ruined the experience.

THE BEST FONDUE RESTAURANT IN THE CITY. This restaurant has Manhattan style but not Manhattan prices, which is greatly appreciated in this economy. From the moment you walk into this Medieval Themed venue you know you are in for an experience. The food and service is definitely one of a kind. Come hungry because there is not one part of the meal that you'd want to skip. From the cheese fondues, to the entrees and then the to die for desserts. There is also a martini lounge with 50 different martinis to choose from. It's a place for a first date, celebrating an event or just a night out with friends. You won't be disappointed.

Editorial Review. Melted cheese and chocolate is the gimmick of choice for this high-concept restaurant, which leans heavily on romance for its revenues.
