Great location.
Close to tons of restaurants. Easy walk to Union Square, Washington Square and Soho shopping. Fabulous service and beds. Good price compared to other hotels.
Cons: rooms are small and have doors to allow adjoining rooms=noise if you have yacky neighbors. Also mood lighting not so practical in the bathroom when dressing after sundown. The tub is amazing but the shower is not so great. it's one if those hand held deals that is mounted too close to the wall making it nearly impossible to stand under.
Great place to stay if you need to be near NYU.
Citysearch Editorial Review. You’ll feel anything but cooped up in this 21-story, 145-room luxury hotel designed by Carlos Zapata. The glass facade gives the structure a modern European feel. Inside, curl up next to the fireplace with a good book in the downstairs library, or wander into the outdoor, Asian-style landscaped garden. The hotel’s interior, by Italian designer Antonio Citterio, boasts sleek leather furniture, white oak floors, mahogany paneling and brushed metals. Each room features 400-thread count sheets, wireless internet and Italian glass mosaic tiled tubs.
