Designer fashions and home goods waaaayyyyy discounted!.
Attention ‘bargainistas’, ‘recessionistas’, ‘fashionistas’- if you haven’t been to Marshall’s, you should go. They’ve got designer merchandise at fabulously discounted prices. Not only do they have all types of clothes and lingerie, but home goods like sumptuous and exotic pillows and candles, bedding, kitchenware, and even furniture! Also, the store serves everyone in the family- men, women, babies, toddlers, kids, and juniors/teens. They’ve got an extensive plus size section (and by plus I mean all the way up into the size 20’s +), gorgeous swimwear, coats, jeans, dresses (they’ve got tons of those Maxi 1970’s dresses that are in style now), purses, and everything else under the sun.
Marshall’s is up to 60% less than department store prices. They’re able to do this because they receive leftovers from department stores that over-buy, or designers that over-produce. Like TJ Maxx, their buyers are out there hustling deals 52 weeks out of the year, which means the stock is ever-changing, and you can find something new there every day. In terms of organization, Marshall’s is like a thrift store in that you have to spend more time looking through all the stuff, as they may only have one or two of each item, especially on their clearance racks. But oh what you will discover!
They don’t offer coupons or rewards points, but they do have their own Marshall’s credit card, and if you apply for it, and get it, you get 10% off of your first purchase.
Bargain hounds sniff out great buys in the always-changing selection of brand-name items..
In Short
With new items arriving every week, Marshalls' shoppers know the key to finding great deals is to come back regularly. Designer brands in current styles are offered at 20 to 60 percent off regular department store prices, and there are end-of-the-season clearance sales as well. Racks are arranged by clothing type (shirts, pants and dresses) in the men's, women's and children's departments. Other offerings include: shoes, home decor, lingerie, luggage, accessories and more.
