Beware the other ratings.. The owner has been known to ask his family members/friends to leave especially positive reviews after so many regular customers have turned to the internet to express their frustrations/disdain for this salon. Just notice how they are written. They aren't natural. Read the negatives ones too... this place is a sketchy, dirty salon.

Great Salon!. I have been a customer of David Alan Salon for over 10 years. I have very thick hair and David has always done an outstanding job on my hair. He has been extremely generous donating his services to a not-for-profit school in town also. I recently had my hair straightened by Francesco Alfieri and I couldn't be happier. Francesco also does my hair color and I have received many compliments on how nice it looks. You are in the best hands when you go to David Alan Salon.

Thank you to Francesco. I had my hair extension and color done in David Alan , the color is amazing, was chosen by Francesco, the hair extension is gorgeous everybody thought it is my natural hair.

Francesco was so pleasant I did not feel the time there though I stayed for 4 hours. The hospitality was great,every body was nice there, prices are acceptable, the place is so clean, they made me feel like a princess.

Thank you very much to Francesco and to David Alan salon.

life changing haircut!. I can finally say I love my hair! Thanks to Francesco at David Alan Salon who gave me a very hip, modern haircut with a razor. I have very thick unruly and wavy hair. Francesco knew how to tame my bushy thickness and make it look sleek without losing the length. It used to take me an hour to dry and style my hair, now it takes 10 minutes. He is also a great colorist. I am so glad I found this salon!

Without a doubt, the best haircut in Bergen County. I began to go to David Alan Salon in 2001 because he generously donated hair products to the nonprofit organization I worked for at the time, Gilda's Club. I was impressed by his generosity and decided to try the salon and have never regretted it.

David himself cuts my hair. From the outset, he looks at the shape of your face, the way your hair falls, where it parts, the kind of hairline you have, and cuts your hair with that in mind. Every move he makes with scissors is careful and well thought out. He will make suggestions, but also take suggestions. He is unhurried, taking the time to make sure layers are even, bangs are properly angled, and that you are happy with the final result.

The salon itself is extremely comfortable, and the staff make you feel warmly welcomed.

You owe it to yourself to try David Alan Salon. You will get a Manhattan haircut right here in Bergen County.

Grand experience at David Alan Grand Salon. I had an absolutely wonderful experience at David Alan Salon. The staff were professional and pampered me from the door. I work in this industry and travel to see David because he takes special care of my hair,always listens to me,and is great conversation. I get everything taken care of in one salon,they are just a really great team of professionals. What I love most is the shine and health I have been able to maintain,and of course my gorgeous color every time. The organic skincare smells heavenly and made my skin glow and radiant,even the next day. I love it.

amazing results. I use to have dry frizzy and hard hair until I got the brazilian straightening done at David Alan. I cant believe this is my hair. Soft and straight!!!! The people were kind, professional and friendly. Christine did my hair and explained the procedure before she even did it which i thought was very professional. I was there for awhile so was offered a complimentary manicure which I did and liked. I wasn't due for a haircut at that time but have returned for one since. The haircut was great. I was talked to about the haircut before a scissor even touched by hair. I was asked my thoughts on my hair, i was not rushed into anything i was not comfortable with. I received a gift certification to use on a new services which i think is terrific in these times of money being tight. Try going there and you will love your results too.

Loved The Results!!!!!!!!. I got my mother a gift certificate for the holidays. She went to use it and found the salon friendly and receive a great hair cut. she was introduced by name to each person who took care of her which i thought was very friendly and thoughtful. she came out with a big smile and looking great. She received gift certificates to give to a friend and she gave it to me. I used it for coloring and loved the results. I am going back for a haircut. I would recommend this salon if you are looking for a great cut and color. they offer different services which i am looking forward to using. they also run alot of great packages for different services. loved the outcome of the whole experience.
