The best massage in NY. I took advantage of the buy your first massage, get the second free. This is a really great spot. The vibe is chill, the music is cool, the lighting is perfect. It's very relaxing. I had a 30 minute massage and felt fantastic afterwards. Check them out.

Massage America Super for Pro Artists. Massage America is awesome. I have been a regular for three years now. I usually work with Nick, but have worked with other therapists and have always had a great experience. I've tried other resources but choose to work with Massage America because they are super excellent and consistent. Both locations are clean, pro, relaxing and staff is friendly and helpful.

I mostly go to the Printing House but have also had massages at the Union Square location. The atmosphere in both locales is classy but relaxed. My massage always begins with the question "anything I want to work on today?" As a performing artist, the answer is "yes!" Every time, the therapist is tuned in and aware.

This place is super artist friendly. Greg, the owner, is excellent with customer service and sympathetic to artist folk all the way. I first learned about Massage America on the Actors Equity website, and I was impressed from day one. Massage America is generous to working actors. As a working, professional actor I have to think about costs and making ends meet, since the arts often mean flux in weekly income. Massage America helps by offering a discount to professional artists, so we can do our thing healthy, ready and wise.

My weekly massage helps my performance work and my lifestyle, since auditioning and performing are exciting but can also be demanding with a lot of "go getter" drive needed. My massage is "golden" time for me.

I rave about Massage America to all my friends. They have flexible hours, day and evening at both locations, seven days a week. What more could an actor want to take care of mind, body, spirit? Working with them is a great complement to my other movement and body work (dance, etc.) and lets my muscles relax and heal.

I wanted to write this as a thanks to Massage America for being such a great resource for NYC actors and other folk. I look forward to working with you guys in 2009, for sure. Many thanks and Happy New Year.

High quality massage in immaculate setting. I get massages at the Printing House location of Massage America-- you don't have to be a member of PH to book a massage. When I want a "fixing" massage (as opposed to just soothing), I book with Brandt or Nick. Leah is great for the relaxing kind of Swedish massage. The rooms are lovely, everything is professional and on time. Massage America's prices are better than most places. I also find that the therapists will try their best to work on specific problems (like my Achilles tendon!), will adjust music or temperature or whatever you need to make it a great massage. Only wish I could afford to go every week!

My weekly trip to Heaven. I can't recommend Massage America enough. I've been a client for 7 years. I've had numerous massages all around the world and none have compared to M. America. I recommend Greg (the owner), Brandt or Nick. I tend to stick with the guys because they give a deeper massage than women.

In regards to the review below - I've never had any "customer service" issues. It could have very well been an "off day" for whoever answered the phone, but I assure you that everyone there cares. It's the nicest enviornment and very friendly. Greg has gone out of his way numerous times to adjust his schedule for me. And they are very in-tuned with your body.

Phenomenal. This place is phenomenal. I had a massage with Michael and he did an amazing job. I have common back pains from siting in my office chair for 12 hours a day, as well as arm pains from typing at the keyboard. He focused on the problem areas and I walked out feeling like a new person. I highly recommend this place.

How do they stay in business?. This place is just awful!. Zero customer service and they just dont have a clue. I had to wait 45 minutes even though i had a reservation and not a single apology from their staff. The services are EXTREMELY poor compared to the prices they charge...

Save your money and go somewhere else. Trust me!

Horrible technique, unprofessional staff and management. How does this place have 4.5 stars if no one has reviewed it???? This is only the second time i have ever written a review, but you all need to be warned!! This was the worst massage i have ever received. Ever. The woman had bad technique (going back and forth over the spine, using her very long acrylic nails, etc.) And the next day I had serious shooting pain, (not muscle soreness!!) unable to walk pain. It's been over a week and it's not much better-- I'm seeking medical attention! I had complained to management only to have them give me excuse after excuse as to why this happened. What it really comes down to is if management hired someone like this then they are not to be trusted either. I'm sure others have been disappointed and just thought it was a one time thing, or they didn't want to take the time to review it. Please step forward other patrons!! Let's try to save someone elses time, money, and physical health.
