Great grooming. My Havanese, Mousse, just had her 3rd fabulous grooming experience at Central Park Pet Spa. She debuted her new haircut in the park later on the day, and had a dozen compliments within the first hour. They did a great job dealing with matting that had built up after lots of rolling around in the mud during this exceptionally wet spring.

No better place in NYC!. I've been taking my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel for over a year now and each visit has been so wonderful if it were up to her she'd go daily! They love and are so great with all the pets I see visit, they also treat each customer special and the quality of care is beyond any quality I've experienced in the past. My pup comes out looking like she's ready for a show!

Some advice, if you are considering being particular about how their coat is cut, as most are, discuss it with them and go with time and ease so you are certain to be satisfied. The groomers is like going to your own hair stylist, you want them to get to know you and what you like/don't like. Because I wanted a non-traditional cut for my pup, Reda discussed it with me at length to be sure I would be happy. That made me feel so much better and I actually learned something about her coat..... it put me at ease for going a bit shorter than normal with the kind of breed she is.

I highly recommend Central Park Pet Spa.

you can trust them with your baby!. I went here based on the strong reviews on this site, and it was a great decision. I'm a first time dog owner and I was really nervous dropping off my 4 month old maltese puppy for grooming. Reza really seems to love dogs and when I came back, to my amazement, my puppy was on the grooming stand (without the neck holder) and she actually held out her paw so he could trim it!!!

If you are nervous about trying them out, don't be! All the staff there were very knowledgable and truly loved their doggy clients.

You get what you pay for!!!!. I would defiantly recommend this place for people who would rather pay a little higher price for LOTS OF EXTRA CARE! Central Park Pet Spa/Daycare is EXTREMELY PET FRIENDLY and EXPERIENCED based on how they handle my dog.

My 1 year old Maltese loves this place! He can play there before and after they groom him and when I pick him up he always looks amazing! I have tried many groomers in the city but Central Park Pet Spa is the BEST based on warm atmosphere they created and how they handle my puppy!

My little shoh-Tzu loves this place it was her first time to be groomed, I was so afraid to live her alone, she’s so shy, but when Reda start working with her was amazing she stayed calm and confidence for him she had amazing haircut like princess. I am happy that there is a such good place I can trust for my little shih-tzu .i recommended this 5 stars pet spa for your pet.

Very Patient and Professional. Before I met anyone, I knew I liked the place because it was open and you could see everything, including the grooming table. I was invited in behind the gate to bring in my dog because she didn't want to walk in by herself. Very welcoming. I was very impressed with our experience here and feel very lucky to have found them. My Brussels Griffon, Bridgette, is a rescue and while she loves dogs, is shy around people and, I discovered, afraid to be handled by strangers. She had a difficult time, and they easily could have sent her home without grooming her. But they were very patient with her. They called me during the day, told me she was having trouble, but they wanted to give her time and try again. They called me a few hours later to tell me she was feeling more comfortable and success! They were able to work with her, she just needed time to get familiar with her surroundings and the people. Everyone was very kind and warm and I appreciated that they took the time to call me during the day to tell me what was happening and talk with me after when I picked Bridgette up. They clearly understand that different dogs have different personalities and they were willing to work with her. She came out looking beautifully. A terrific,, trustworthy place and we will be coming back again and again. If you are looking for a great grooming service with a warm, professional, caring staff, this is your place.

My dog hates this place. My dog went in for a full grooming and came back with two bloody toenails. I don't know how they can call themselves a luxury pet spa when they do not know how to even trim nails. My dog is now extremely fearful whenever he has his nails trimmed. Later, I also noticed that the insides of his ears were raw from the hair pulling.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. Additionally, I gave specific instructions to not cage him, because he was adopted from a shelter and gets anxious when caged. Guess where he was when I went to pick him up!

Great Grooming, Service and Atmosphere. We have been taking our shih tzu Taki to see Reda and his team for more than a year now and are delighted with the grooming and service we receive. In addition to grooming, we frequently stop by the store as Taki loves it there. We are always welcomed warmly by Reda and his team who are extremely helpful if we have grooming or general health questions about Taki. I would recommend Central Park Pet Spa to any pet owner in the neighborhood.

The Best Groomer!. Our little girl was suffering from a mangy looking coat that was causing her to scratch and scratch! This, after feeding her the best food and taking her to some very exclusive groomers. No one had an answer, until we found Reda. He and Judy used their natural products and it was like she was a different little girl! Her skin was immediately better, and she strutted out of the Spa like she wanted to lead a parade. Her coat has now grown in thick and fluffy; her skin has all healed..all this after just a few grooming visits over two months. Imagine, one groomer told us that our girl needed to see a vet about her hormone levels in her blood! But, thanks to Reda and Judy, she is just perfect! We feel it is well worth the sixty miles we drive to get our baby in to see Reda and Judy.

Experience and Safey first. My sweet shih tzu was traumatized and hurt -physically at another (really reputable) groomer in the city. I struggled to find a groomer that would handle my puppy with patience and care. A nice haircut is great--but for us, my dog's safety, well being and that she has a good experience is TOP priority. Facilities are clean, we got what we wanted for our dog. We're relieved to have found Central Park Pet Spa, they were gentle, patient, and caring towards her and she also ended up with a great haircut!
