The VERY Best!!!

Andrew and his staff (especially Nan and Trinita) made what we thought would be an awful experience into a fun and compassionate one...
My mother has cancer and is in a wheelchair. She was scheduled to start radiation within the next week and decided that she wanted a wig to make her more comfortable with the transition she was facing. When I called to schedule an appointment, I mentioned mom's wheelchair and was told that the salon was on the second floor and there wasn't an elevator. I was determined to find a way to make this visit possible for her, but before I could even consider the options, my phone rang and it was Andrew telling us to come to the salon and call when we were downstairs. We did, and within a minute, Nan came downstairs to our car (Andrew was with a client), got in and presented us with dozens of wig options...everything from colors to styles and lengths. Mom tried on all different types (Nan brought a hand mirror) and had great help from Nan with making choices about color, etc...As if we weren't thrilled enough with this curb-side service, when the wig arrived, Andrew sent Trinita up to the apartment to cut and style her wig in the privacy and comfort of her own home. Now that's great customer service! I can't recommend Andrew highly enough. He is a joy to work with and his wigs are AMAZING!
Thank you for everything, Andrew. You make a difference in so many peoples' lives.

You will leave feeling that you've been given a gift in the midst of cancer treatment when you see Andrew. He is a giving person who wants to make his clients happy and he does this through humor, understanding and compassion. BTW, he's very knowledgeable about his wigs as well and the selection is deceivingly large. Highly recommended for all of NYC!

I had found a true Angel)
Thank you so much for the care and attention you had given to my little 6year old granddaughter Chelsea. Your kindness and generosity as well as your compassion to Chelsea means so much to our family and knowing that you had gone out of your way for Chelsea to help her during your vacation well that in it self speaks for it self. Knowing that there is angel here on earth like you well what can I say!!! But to say we all love you very much!! In knowing that we were unable to come to the city to have her fitted for the wig and had gone by the picture I had sent and the measurements as well, the wig looks fantastic and amazing just perfect for Chelsea.
May God Bless You and Your Family and Your Staff!!! Much Love and Very Much Greatfull For all you had done.

My sister has cancer, that's terrible enough but add to it that our older sister just died in November of cancer and now you have become one of those examples that people use to show that their lives aren't so bad.
My sisters insurance does not cover wigs, so we were referred to the American Cancer Society and went last week, we were not very hopeful, my sister was given a wig at the cancer center in brooklyn where she is being treated, it was horrible and she quickly gave it back, so we were expecting pretty much of the same.
What a great surprise for us. Waiting for us was Andrew DiSimone and three wigs that matched my sister's hair exactly. He looked at my sister picked up one of the wigs and it was a home run. He cut it so she looked great and the best part of all of this, he is an exceptional person. He made us laugh, we were relaxed, we had fun! Who can have fun picking out a cancer wig? We did, thanks to Andrew. Well we left there feeling wonderful and the ultimate complement, when back in our own neighborhood we bough coffeeand the clerk told my sister "I love you hair that way", Thank you so much for not only being so giving, but being so talented. You really made our day.

I needed help with hair loss for medical reasons. I wanted a wig that worked for me and looked natural, but I could not affortd to pay a lot for hair that I might need for only a few months. Andrew and his assistant gave me two consultations, searching for a good solution. Finally, Andrtew looked at an old hairpiece of mine and told me that he could make it look better. And he did. I never felt pressured to buy something I could not afford, and I walked out feeling so much better about myself.
The experience was remarkable. It was proof of what others have said about Andrew--that he truly cares about his clients, and he brings his best personal and professional skills to the task of adding dignity when it is needed. Thank you!
