AVAILABLE MOVERS- The Worst Movers in the US. Available Movers has got to the absolute worst moving company. Available Movers Lies about the pricing to get you to use them. Available Movers uses a bait and switch technique AND gouges you once they show up in your driveway. Once they load the truck they present you with paperwork that essentially says we have 21 business days to deliver your belongings after Available Movers gives you a date to pick up the belonging to be there on time. Even after calling Available Movers Office, speaking with the OWNER I was assured that this language is on everyone's paperwork but I was guaranteed a November 18th delivery. Available Movers called and asked if we could take delivery early, I had the lease changed on the apartment and they never put the furniture on the truck to Utah. I was supposed to move my son today into his apartment in Utah. Available Movers arrived on site on November 3rd to pick up the furniture. Available Movers project manager is a liar and a cheat. He made us spend 3X the quoted price. Available Movers even though they gave us a delivery date lied and never contacted us to tell us that our delivery date was not going to be reached despite our calls to they offices EVERYDAY. Available Movers was reached yesterday, the 17th and they told us our belongings will not be there for another week and a half. December. We had to cancel $1,000 plane tickets we were supposed to use today, I took a week off of work, we will miss Thanksgiving with our son, and now I have to put my son up in a hotel until the furniture arrives because I cannot go to Utah twice. Available Movers barely speaks English, they are perfect liars and AVAILABLE MOVERS SHOULD NEVER BE TRUSTED. I FILED A COMPLAINT AGAINST AVAILABLE MOVERS WITH THE NEW YORK AUTHORITIES. THEY ARE NOW HOLDING OUR FURNITURE IN A LOCATION AND WON'T DISCLOSE WHERE IT IS. They are a fraudulent company and Available Movers SHOULD NEVER BE TRUSTED.

Aweful movers. They are by far the worst mover you will ever use. They will quote you wrong prices and they will haggle you to pay them more on the day on the move. They refused to move our bed and wanted to leave it outside the building bec they could not unscrew it. They have broken our stuff and refused to do anything about it. Do not trust a word they are saying bec they will corner you on the day of your move and be very rude about it. Simply aweful, esp their manager.

Best Moving Company.
Available Movers have pleasantly surprised me with their extreme kindness and professionalism. The prices were very affordable, and the movers were very careful with my furniture. They cautiously packed all my items and provided me with all the shipping materials. There was no need for me to run around and buy supplies since everything was provided to me at the tip of my fingers.
I highly recommend for every one to check out this company and give them a chance. You will not be sorry.

Purposeful Low Quote, Real Cost was Double the Quote!.
I am outraged by this company! Available Movers gave us a very low quote for moving our goods. In fact, their quote was about half the cost of other moving companies. Maybe that should have been a red flag. When it came time for the actual moving day, they said they were going to charge us more than DOUBLE the amount of the quote because they had underestimated our square footage from our inventory list! They ended up costing more than other moving companies. In the meantime, our goods were loaded up by Available Movers and put in storage, held as hostage until we pay them more than DOUBLE the amount of the original quote! We are presently at the destination city, so there is very little we can do except give them the money they're demanding.
I have already filed a complaint with the BBB.

EXCELLENT SERVICE,VERY SATISFIED. This is my third time I used available movers from new jersey to orlando and I am very satisfied with this company , they did the pickups on time, no headaches no problems, a very smooth process and they delivered as they promise on time. So i really recommend this company.

LIARS AND THIEVES-BY FAR THE WORST MOVING COMPANY.
Beware when looking for a moving company-especially this one. They will over charge you and not deliver!
I was assured all of my moving needs were in good hands by the woman on the phone named Diane. On moving day-I found out she never followed up on my buildings request to cover the floors(very standard in NYC).
It was a disaster.They had no masonite so my building would not let me move in. The guys moving were really hard working and the manager Sam treated both of us awfully.Held my furniture captive while trying to over charge me. It was a truly awful experience.Finally after a call to my lawyer and 8 hours later he got nervous and finally gave me my furniture.
Save yourself the trouble and find another company

Marketing Stategy:Lowest quote big surprise later. We received ~ 10 price quotes to move one room of furniture from Philadephia to Stamford Ct. Available Movers quote was $ 510 which was significantly lower than the other price quotes. When the movers arrived in Stamford they asked for a total of $ 741.20 or they would not off load the furniture. Since we had no choice we paid the difference by credit card. We have certainly learned our lesson. If the price appears to be too good beware..... I see from other reviews this seems to be a standard practice at Available Movers

Please take in mind that the price above for $510 was just an estimated quote. You need to consider other charges such as tolls and extra labor time that was not initially encounter for. Before closing off the deal it was brought to your attention that these two factors were not included as mentioned in a previous e-mail.

Excellent move.
My wife and I could not be more happy with our move. We had a team of three (headed by a guy named Marcio) that was professional, friendly, and extremely efficient. The pricing was also very good. Everything was moved very quickly and undamaged.
We also had an extraordinarily good experience with one of their salesmen, named Chris. The building we were leaving was very picky about insurance, waivers and other paperwork. Chris was remarkably responsive and helpful in that process and in tying up loose ends afterwards. A rare experience of truly excellent customer service.

Do not consider Available Movers.
I used Available Movers to move because they appeared to offer a better rate. They gave me one quote but when it came time for them to offload they demanded almost twice the amount I was quoted! All the additional charges at the end of the move were bogus and not representative of the original quote.
They also would only take cash or a postal money order. They also showed up in a rental truck. Ripoff.

However, we kindly ask that you please understand that the price that was quoted to you was based on the items you have mentioned either over the phone or via e-mail. In this case there were more items then initially listed. As well as packing supplies were not included as there was a request for this at the time of move. We understand that this is a stressful experience for many and causes a change of mind on what originally was discussed.

Best Movers!!!.
I moved to New Jersey over the weekend. I had no idea how much stuff I had packed into every corner of my apartment. Israel, Mathew, and George of Availabe Movers packed the things I hadn't done a good enough job with, and not one thing was broken along the way, even with my crappy packing job.
This crew was FANTASTIC! They worked without stopping on a long 7 hour move, except for a quick lunch break. Very helpful, very nice, smiling all the time.
I couldn't have asked for a better moving experience. What a great job. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a move.
