Incomparable Authentic Greek Seafood in NY. I always thought I knew Greek food until I ate at Oceano. The Owners and the Chef are from Greece and make you feel at home by giving you a comfortable Greek experience from the service and surroundings enhanced with Greek music and the most important part... the cuisine. Oceano has become one of my favorite places to dine not only in Astoria, but all of New York. This is my favorite place to entertain all my family and friends. I can trust that everyone will be beyond satisfied with their entire experience.

P.S. The appetizers are a must!

A Great Place To Eat. I love the food at Oceano. The Chef rocks. the calamari is tender and cooked to perfection. The fresh fish is delightful. The place and staff are very down to earth, friendly and they make you feel at home. The garage doors make you feel like you are in Greece with the cool breeze hitting your face.

Oceano is the place to eat...Go and enjoy it.

PS: Try the olive dip and raw clams. Delishhhhhhhhh

UNBELIEVABLE FOOD!!!!!. WHAT A PLACE!!

Living in Astoria for the past 5 years, we saw a few restaurants come and go at this location.

My wife and I took a couple of friends out to dinner last night and I had to let everyone know about our experience.

We felt like we were on a Greek Island.

Starting with the appetizers (you must try the octopus and sesame feta) to the main course, My wife and I shared a whole red snapper which was cooked to perfection! as well as our guest who enjoyed their stuffed filet and "arni giouveti" all the way to the complimentary dessert.

FINALLY, the new owner got it right! The food was out of this world. Give it a shot and I promise YOU, you won't be sorry!

To the owner: Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!

To the staff: keep up the great service.

To the public: you won't be sorry.

As for us, we'll be back.........

WOW!!!! Best Seafood Restaurant in Astoria, Queens. Being frustrated from waiting over 1 hour to be seated at one of Ditmars well know seafood place’s, we strolled across the street and stumbled onto Oceano Seafood restaurant….WOW

What a hidden gem!!!!!

Such an amazing experience! From the moment we walk in to the moment we walk out. The staff was top notch, the service impeccable and the food was increasable!!!! Prices were reasonable, if not a lot less than you would have expected to pay for a Restaurant of its class…..

PS… Kudos to Costa the Chief!!!!!!!

Delicious and affordable. Out of all of the Astoria restaurants, this is where I take all of my out-of-town guests (esp. the Midwesterners who aren't used to getting fresh seafood).

A delicious and delightful dinner.

Fresh Raw Bar!. I've only had their little neck clams appetizer, oysters, lobster bisque and grilled pear salad, but I found it all to be pretty good. The clams are fresh and once when they didn't have any I asked the man who seemed to be the owner and he said the reason was he didn't like the selection the vendor had - Me Like High Standards When It Comes to Raw Fish!

It's hard to get people to come with me though 'cause the place is usually kinda empty, and fish is a hard sell as it is. Okay, my b.f. just chimed in that the sausage was delicious. I say give it a shot while it's still around.

Awesome Food!!!. My husband and I ate here this past weekend and we absolutely loved it! My husband had the shrimp scampi and it was delicious...the best he's ever had! And even though we were at a seafood restaurant, I was in the mood for ribs, so I ordered their barbeque ribs and they were also delicious! They came with steamed vegetables and these amazing seasoned potatoes! Our waitress, Alexandra was absolutely adorable and we are super excited about our new favorite restaurant! The restaurant is gorgeous and really big. It looks like it would be expensive but it is so reasonable for how good the food is and how beautiful the restaurnt is. You feel like you are fine dining but you dont have to pay fine dining prices! Amazing!
