Lower East Side's BEST Slice. Seriously. All I have to say is the pizza is just perfect. The crust is thin and crunchy. The perfect ratios of cheese to sauce, sauce to crust, cheese to crust. I walked out of this place with a genuine smile. On top of it, the rest of the food is awesome as well. Try the empanadas. Simply delish!

LOST IN THE SAUCE. What does one do when visiting the lower eastside? Buy pickles from the pickle man, eat a knish, and now grab a slice at Ciao Bella and forget about the knish.

I read some reviews on this place on Chowhound and my curiousity was piqued. Ordered the sundried tomatoe and pesto slice, immediately was impresssed. The dough has a crunchy texture and the sauce was quite tastey. I can't say much more until I revisit but Ciao Bella delivered a knock out on the first round.

I just love it!. I've been a customer at Ciao Bella Pizzeria for almost one year now and I must say it's the ONLY pizza worth eating on the Lower East Side. The owner proudly boasts its his "grandmothers secret recipe" and damn does it show! The crust is thin and perfectly crispy, the sauce is made fresh daily, and the cheese is so bubbly and baked to a heavenly degree. Last week I tasted the garlic knots for the first time, and I fell in love all over again.. This is the way pizza should indeed taste.

Best Pizza on Lower east Side. This is an incredible slice! The sauce is fresh-tasting as can be, tastes like real tomatoes, god-forbid! Nice crust-to-sauce ratio. Not a big bread eater so this fits the bill for me. Definitely will be back.

Amazing NYC pizza. I randomly popped into this adorable little pizza place on the Lower East Side last week and fell in love with their pizza on my very first bite. 'Fresh' does not even begin to describe this pizza.. The sauce, amazing. The cheese, impeccable and the crust is seriously to die for. The laid back home-like atmosphere and delightful staff make this a great go to place for lunch. The very "hands-on" owner claims to keep only the freshest of ingredients behind the counter, and it shows.
