They whip out an amazing latte and though you wouldn't think so -- the food is fairly decent as well. If you're a fish person, try the seared ahi tuna tacos. They're juicy chunks of tuna with large avocado slices in a soft taco wrap. It's big enough to share and it comes with a salad on the side. Great lunch spot near NYU.

Crowded but Good. I have visited this place twice, both times I immediately felt a little swamped by the amount of people waiting in line, and it's a little difficult to get in & out of your seat because the tables are so crammed in together. That being said, the staff is very nice, and they really work hard to keep the lines going & to get you a table. It is a bit strange that you order at the counter & then get your own condiments & water, etc... Their food is good (have a lot of vegetarian options, yay!) & when they accidentally knocked a carton of (practically empty) milk by us (some of it land on us) and just laughed it off, but they gave us one of their giant (delicious) cookies for free! They are customer service oriented & make the most of their tiny but homey space.

Better than the original?. Consistently good sandwiches and the staff is exceptionally friendly. One of the best lunch spots in Union Square.

great food. i love the grey dog location on carmine and no exception here. Cute cozy place and even better food!!!
