Nice Starwood Property.
The Element was a great choice:
PROS: Location was great! You are 1/2 block from the closest Subway. The convience store is 1/2 block away. There is plenty of dining locations within walking distance . The staff was rather very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is free daily and the food was hot and satisfying. The breakfast bar consisted of Cereal, yogurt, turkey bacon, sausage, scrambled egg whites, reg scrambled eggs, pretzel bread ham/cheese sandwiches, a variety of juices, bagels, coffe and tea. There was aplenty of food and there was no running out. The food was actually good. The lounging area have 3 MACINTOSH computers to surf the net, or print boarding passes. Also they have a happy hour where wine is served for free. Oh yeah and let's not forget the free Internet was a plus. When I called and requested extra towels, they came within a matter of seconds and the heat worked perfectly fine. The bed was very comfortable.
CONS: There is not an ipod docking station and the wood floors were a tad dusty.I knew this because I walked around in the room with my socks on. The socks were semi dusty. I recommend them using dust mops on the floors. The entrance of the hotel floor was a lil dirty, but someone was always mopping it. I think a large mat or rug would do the entrance a big favor. Inside the room, there is no information about the neighborhood, no pamphlets, no tourist information.
Overall, I would definitely stay again. Oh yeah Rapahel was such a delight!
