GREAT PLACE!!!!!!!!. Wow, can not believe you would say such harsh things. My co-workers and friends frequent this establishment often and have never had a problem with any of the staff. On the contrary, the owner and the staff are the nicest and most accommodating people I have ever come across. Taking a lesson form Latin Kitchen?!! Are you kidding me?! Aside from the fact that they only have one busy night a week, that place is horrible. The food is disgusting and the staff are a bunch of idiots. There are fights there every week and THEIR crowd is VERY ghetto. To suggest that a classy establishment such as the Martini Lounge should take lessons from them is ridiculous. I guess if you like the crowd at Latin Kitchen you should stay there and refrain from entering classy establishments. Sounds like you were possibly the one not acting properly and were asked to leave, hence your derogatory comments. Don't hate, just behave when you go out and you won't have any problems.
OWNER IS A LOW LIFE ! SHE NEEDS TO GO BACK TO THE GHETTO!. THE OWNER OR MANAGER WHATEVER SHE IS HAS NO CLASS. SHE IS NOT PROFESSIONAL AND DOES NOT DESERVE TO HAVE A BUSINESS ON EAST TREMONT. SHE NEEDS TO TAKE SOME LESSONS FROM LATIN KITCHEN IN HOW A BUSINESS SHOULD BE MANAGED. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANY DECENT AND PROFESSIONAL PEOPLE.
DON'T GO HERE!. About 20 of my friends & I chose this place to celebrate a special occasion, and we liked the atmosphere. Our waitress immediatly asked us to open a tab, when I told her we wanted to open a couple of tabs or wanted to pay seperately she told us we could not if we were in a group and brought the owner out to confirm that. We agreed to do one tab. After that we never saw the waitress again, everyone went up to the bar to get their drinks and most paid out of pocket. At the end of the night when we looked at our bill, There was about $150 worth of stuff that was obviously not ours. We realized that the tab from the table next to us had been added to our tab. When we pointed this out to the owner, she said she would not take anything off of the tab, even after our initial waitress admitted to not being sure if the right stuff was on the right tab! They also added a 20% tip on the tab when we were not served the whole night. Although $150 is not a lot of money, this place left a really bad taste in my mouth; trying to make money in any way possible is not a good way to keep customers, they have lost our business permanently.
-_-. Friendly staff. All the previous comments were made because I Dj'd there
HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE. Service was horrendous..... the bartenders barely make eye contact with u on a busy night. Yes, you're busy - we get it. But ignoring a customer that politely says "excuse me, can I please order a quick drink" is UNACCEPTABLE. The martinis are disgusting. The house vodka they use must be gasoline - they make u sick to your stomach! And this is only after 1 drink. HORRIBLE. Not to mention the crowd - it was a meat market in there....nothing but a bunch of rejects, not classy at all. Music was average to say the least. Extremely disappointing.... DO NOT waste your money unless u enjoy looking at the pretty curtains. ICK!!!! So disappointed with this place. BOOOOO!!!!! THUMBS DOWN!!!!
Mature and Sassy. The folks there were very attentive to my group. The food was pretty good and the drinks were on the money. The atmosphere was mature and sassy! Not the kind of place for that rowdy crowd. I've been there 2x in a week..and I plan to go again!
