Tips for Dare To Be Bare

I found this business thru Groupon they are very friendly & very knowledgable, I felt comfortable the minute I walked in. I've had 3 laser sessions so far and I'm very happy with the results.

The other review about the personalities are correct. Colleen is a very nasty owner. If you must use this spa--try to get Sandra. She is warm and pleasant. FYI--their laser is old and out of date and is not very effective. I have left this business and have gotten better treatment and better laser effectiveness elsewhere.

Dare To Be Bare. I had an apt. 3:00pm at Dare to Be Bare. I called the store at 2:00pm because I was lost and needed direction. Someone answered the phone at 2:30pm and was very rude. They told me there was no way I would make it on time and that I would need to reschedule. I tried to explain to the person that I waited 2 weeks and I couldn’t wait any longer. The person on the phone was very rude and did not give me a chance to speak. When I drove to the store at 3:03 one of the workers name Collen McMahon told me I don’t know why you came because were not going to see you and then close the door in my face. It was Sandra Cossa who was nice enough to do my waxing and apologize for Collen McMahon rude behavior. I am very disappointed in the professionalism at Dare to Be Bare. Beside there unprofessionalism there work is amazing. But that’s no excuse to treat your customers that why.

Not Recommended. Received laser hair removal treatments at Dare to Be Bare for more than a year for (pretty standard) facial hair. The no-frills, bare-bones style was fine with me--never needed more than 15 minutes on the meter per session--until it was obvious the treatments were falling short (I'd say that in the end they were about 65% effective). Reasons given were that 1) I hadn't scheduled my appointments at proper intervals, 2) I was resistant to treatment, and 3) "You're seeing more hair than I'm seeing." Surely professionals with a concern for customer satisfaction can do better than blame the client for imperfect results.
