BRAVO!!. WOW!!!!!!!

I ordered a Baptism candle and 3 Easter Pascal Candles for my godchildren Monday and today Wednesday I have my candles labades in Hudson MA. Phenomenal Service.As for the labades they are gorgeous. BRAVO! I wish I knew about you guys earlier. There are two or three similar stores here in Boston and the lambathes are hideous. I do not want to get into details but they are ugly...Cheap ribbon, no nice objects, etc... I checked everyone in Astoria and they told me crazy prices for each candle and delivery time 2 weeks at least. And I found Portara with excellent prices and customer service and shipping. All candles arrived in fine condition and packed carefully. i will definitely tell my friends and everyone about Portara. Thanks again for the beautiful candles labathes. MANY THANKS. I just wanted to express how grateful I am for Portara's beautiful work in handling the entire baptism of my two special goddaughters on June 2010. They run a very professional business and their attention to detail was admired by everyone - particularly by the twins' mother. From the shoes to the dresses, lathopana, holy oil bottle with the icon, martirika on the satin pillow to the gorgeous Baptism candles and keepsake chest that they custom decorated...were all stunningly beautiful. They made the baptism a truly memorable and cherished event in New York. We appreciated their efforts in putting everything together as they relieved my concerns as an "out of town godmother." Thank you again.

Suggest to everyone to at least check them out because they have an excellent customer service, they dedicate a lot of time to every customer and their prices are very affordable. Elaine, the owner, is very helpful and she has a great personality.She pays attention to every detail. I recommend Portara to everyone.

Website is Deceptive!. Beware!!! Expensive and quality does not reflect prices!!!!

I received my online order yesterday of a Christening Candle Set and a Baptism Oil Basket. The large candle had a beautiful bow, ribbon and tulle. That's about it.

I am very disappointed with the quality of the other items and I feel incredibly cheated.

First, the cross was haphazardly glued to the candle ribbon and it looks very cheap like plastic. Also, an ugly string with gold and dark blue beads was attached to it, which was not in the picture online. Like a cheap keychain.

As for the oil basket, I am even more dissatisfied. The basket in the photograph online had a handle, while the one I received does not. The edge of the netting is ripped and frayed. I could have seriously done better at the dollar store! I am glad I chose not to order the christening clothing from this site.

Stay away and spend your money elsewhere! Ντροπή σας!
