Horrible

by John Public at Citysearch

Bad pizza which looks (and tastes) like it's been sitting there for days. A small, filthy place with a rude staff.

In the late evenings, about 15 vagrants line up outside the restaurant, crowding the sidewalk and threatening passersby with an attack dog named 'Hitler'. At closing time, the restaurant then invites the Hitler team inside and rewards them with a free dinner.

RUDE service

by gypsypam514 at Citysearch

I went here to get a slice to go. When it was time to pay for my slice, the guy just placed my pizza on a plate and set it down on the counter. I asked for a bag and he said

"Please and thank you. That's right. It's ok, I went to public school too. See ya around the Hood."

I was floored by these rude comments! Implying that I am from the the "hood" and not well educated just because I am a person of color was clearly derogatory and racist.

  • Pros: pizza is not terrible
  • Cons: service is RUDE

Delicious chicken and tomato

by kneering at Citysearch

Stopped in here on my way home from the subway. Loved the brick oven, definitely the way to make pizza. Got one cheese slice and one chicken and tomato slice. The crust was great for both. I wasn't crazy about the sauce on the cheese slice, but the chicken and tomato was fresh and awesome. $7 for both, which seems like a lot to me. I'd go back if I was close by again.

  • Pros: Chicken and tomato slice
  • Cons: Price

I loved this place. Only problem is its out of the way for me. I'm way downtown. I'm going back this weekend and I will make sure to pick up a pie.

  • Pros: great taste
  • Cons: out of the way for me

BEST PIZZA!

by mereditheats at Citysearch

I stopped into East Side Brick Oven Pizza after randomly finding it on my black berry. I was starving and hoping for some good quick cheap eats as i was wandering around the ues. I got 2 slices of plain pizza and was totally blown away! Great pizza, crispy crust, very cheesy, good sauce, large slice. All in all definitely a go to for your pizza craving. Next time i am going to try one of the fancy slices!
