Not impressed.

by pjcsherpa at Citysearch

Waited at the counter for five minutes. It was not that busy. I felt that my small purchase was an inconvenience. Inwood born and raised. It hurts that this is what we were all squeezed out for. Downtown coopting uptown because they got squeezed out themselves. See you soon, in the Bronx.

Great food and beer and good times

by Inwood63 at Citysearch

I go for dinner and the Pub Quiz. I like trying whatever new beers they have. The food is always fresh and tasty, and there is lots of it. The owners and managers are there, involved, friendly, and very responsive. It's a major plus for the neighborhood.

good place to hang out

by vien1224 at Citysearch

I went there on a Sunday afternoon. There was a live Latin Jazz band performing live. I had a glass of house wine, three kinds of cheese ,and bread. The food was good, service was great, the atmosphere was amazing. It's a good place to hang out with friends, or enjoy nice live music,or even a good book and a laptop. will definitely go back again!

Great Neighborhood Joint

by TheJordan at Citysearch

Well, where to start with the IRC...

The food is generally excellent. It's a little pricier than U-Like, but hey... at least it doesn't give you dysentery.

The beer list is fantastic and is always changing. The only downside is that sometimes you can't find that beer you loved the last time you were in.

It's definitely a neighborhood-ie kind of place. You see a lot of the same people every time you show up, and the crowd is generally young and chill. Also, they have events like a weekly open mic night on Mondays and a pub quiz on Wednesdays (read: free beer).

Maybe I spend too much time there, but I'm happy as hell to have it right around the corner.
