John Gerard Griffith is great

I love this salon. I see John Gerard Griffith and he is great. What I love about his work is that he listens to your needs and he understands hair texture. He gives me a style that I like and that makes me feel great, and that also works with my hair and so is not too high maintenance for me. Too often I've walked out of salons with gorgeous hair only to never have it look nice again after I wash it. Not with John. After John's cut, morning routines are quick, and a glamorous look is achievable without a major time investment.

A top notch salon

Bought the Groupon deal for the keratin treatment. Was very happy with it. Have gone to some other salons since for keratins, but none were worth it. I will be returning to Loft 26 exclusively from now on. They are great!

Disappointed, Disgruntled, Disrespected,Speechless

I made an appointment for this past MONDAY 6/6/11 when I couldn't originally get a desired one for any of summer hair months I desired I went to the next year. I saw an attempt to contact me two weeks ago, but no message. Monday came I called before leaving for my scheduled appointment and there was a message machine on as they were closed!!!!! I called again as I thought I heard no Monday scheduling in their message, they changed their days of operation after selling 1000 groupons excluding Mondays since last year, I left a second message indicating just that. I was called back shorly thereafter stunned and was told they were doing something to the store and needed to ventilate, still 'not' owning the change of operation days.

I not given any accommodation what so ever!!!! I am not sure who she was, but I made plans and that included time for Coppola Kerratin process then two weeks later color and then and grand affair of travel plans- Plans to laugh I see. I tried to get a re scheduled appointment for anytime for the next four days as I was the one inconvenienced, all reasonable requests especially waiting for almost a year for this timely event...Her attempt was to give me an appointment on a Sunday weeks from now..or on a day where the staff would be fill ins for appointments... never to do a Coppola Keratin treatment on your hair!

She claimed that she would try and rearrange some schedules of others to accommodate me, SHE NEVER CALLED ME BACK AT ALL!

That woman was awful to me, I WASTED MY VALUED TIME, NOT EVEN A RETURN PHONE CALL!!! I wrote to them from their website and also no response. This is abhorent for a business to do and I am FURIOUS...! These are services I 'PAID' for already!

I would NOT trust people who lack respect and care nothing for someone they have essentially harmed. I have never been treated so poorly. I am stunned and screwed... for Services I already paid for, and appointment I already scheduled and only couldn't imagine having to alter a scheduled appointment so such a degree. I would think twice or even a bit more before making an appointment here. Everything I have read regarding the owner Stacey Weinstein is not what this experience has shown me...

Amazing Stylists and Keratin Treatments

I had my first cut and keratin coppola treatment with John at Loft 26 days before my wedding and it made my hair so smooth and beautiful I barely had to style it on the big day! John is a great stylist who really listens to what you want and gives you a cut that people will notice. I asked for long layers which is shockingly easy for some people to mess up and his cut was perfect and I barely have to do anything to make it look good on a normal day. I just scheduled my next Keratin treatment and can't wait to get my hair frizz free for the summer. I would definitely recommend John and Loft 26 if you're looking for a new stylist and salon.

Best Haircut Ever for Fine Hair

After many failed horrible haircuts, John Gerard Griffith finally brought my hair back to life. I have very long fine hair and a lot of stylists try to over style my hair, making it difficult to handle on my own. John not only made me feel so comfortable but gave me the best hair cut I have had in years. Save yourself all of the wasted tears and come to John, I cannot recommend him enough.
