Love, Love, Love Loft 26!!!. I absolutely adore Loft 26! It's such a beautiful space, the staff is super talented and friendly, and my hair has never looked better. I'm super picky when it comes to hair salons and have tried several in the City. It's hard to find a place that checks all the boxes. Some places are great for cuts, others for color, others for style...lots of places have stressful atmospheres or lots of staff turnover...but Loft 26 is the total package. It's a one stop shop for all your beauty needs! I see Stacey and Loren and both ladies are beyond talented. In addition, they are experts when it comes to reading their clients and catering to their individual needs. For example, I'm from the South and I love big, curly hair and Stacey seriously spends at least 30 minutes after a cut setting my hair in rollers or curling it with a curling iron and shaping it to perfection. You get the sense that they truly care about their clients as friends, not just customers. Every time I go I leave feeling pampered, gorgeous and perfectly happy. John Gerard Griffith is the BEST!. Frizzy curls?! Yup, got'em! I used the blow drier, flat iron, and tons of straightening balm each and every time I did my hair. The result was split ends that went to the root, and hair that just stopped growing. I booked an appointment with John thinking it was just going to be my once a year thing, on the contrary! John explained to me exactly what I was doing wrong, and walked me through the correct maintenance of my hair down to the products I should be using. I've had two Keratin Coppola treatments with him, a Phyto Hair Treatment, and two haircuts in less than a year. I have curly and kind of frizzy hair. I used to get lifebooker, groupon, and gilt city deals and go to different places to cut, condition, and blow-dry my hair. I found Loft 26 through Lifebooker.
Since then I go to cut my hair only there.
John is great! My curls never looked more sophisticated. I never liked to blow-dry my hair. Most of the salons I have been to, use too much heat. I was always worried about the damage. John gives me the most gentle blow- dry I have ever experienced, and he never rushes it. + their products are amazing.

Loft 26 is true to its name. The salon is in a beautiful airy loft space that, even on Saturdays when it's really busy, still feels very spacious. I've been going to the salon for a few years now
and have always found the staff friendly and professional. Also, this may seem like a minor detail but the hair washing sinks are amazing. They are designed to completely support your head so you don't strain your neck during the wash.
I followed my stylist Noelle here from her previous salon. Noelle was recommended to me by a friend as a great stylist for curly hair. I haven't been disappointed! About a year ago I was ready for a change and Noelle suggested a short style. She took my lifestyle into consideration (I wanted something quick and low maintenance) and gave me a cut that looks great with very little effort on my part.
