These staff definitely know what they're doing and they had the newest machines! Being a germaphobe, I asked what their sterilization process was and I am amazed at how cautious they are in cleaning and disinfecting everything. Big plus in my book!

I've gotten 3 sessions done on my underarms and am pleased with my results. They had a special promo for the cellulite reduction so I gave that a try. I've only had two but I def saw a whole lot less than before.

Overall, I'm so happy to have found satori. So happy that I'm writing such a big review. I highly recommend them. Not only because they're informed, professional, and clean, but also because they're friendly and always have great promos running!

As a Japanese girl, hair has not always been a concern for me. But who does not want to feel a little more attractive? I had met a girl who was working at American Laser Center at an event. She had recommended Satori Laser after I consulted with her about laser hair removal. I was wondering why she did not recommend her work place. She told me that I can receive the best result with the best price at Satori, because she goes there herself.

On my first visit, I was so surprised that Satori is an elegant and high-class place. I like the atmosphere and décor, it made me feel very comfortable! Actually, Satori office looks like they have a business in art. I have had three treatments untill now, including my lower legs, brazilian bikini and underarms. $130+$99+$40, only $260!! I was so happy with the whole process and it did not take too much time. Besides, I did not feel any pain that I heard about before. Angela and Sasha did the treatments for me. They are very nice and professional, and saw visible results from first session. It definitely worth it, because I cannot describe how happy I am.

BTW, I met a cute guy when I was sitting in the waiting area. He is a doctor from Washington D.C. who was visiting family. He told me I picked the right place for laser hair removal. Haha. I will wear dresses for this whole winter!

the only good thing going on @ satori is easy to get to. the issues i have with satori are;

1. satori is a japanese word, no japanese people in sight at satori.

2. the prices aren't the same for every one and they increased some prices by 50%.

3. the front staff is rude and very unprofessional ( they never say thank you after you pay)

4. mimi says its fine to see different tech each time you go ( not at all, you should be able to see the same tech all of the time so that they know your skin and how your hair grows)

5. oh and on my 3rd and 4th session i had half circle marks on the right sideburn area. i was told this is because i have darker skin. bull! my skin is very fair. they shouldn't press so hard with the laser.

basically do your homework before going there. special prices and treatment are only for the so called models they work on, not the regular customers.

prices are good, sasha, one of the technician's is great. i have never been to the other technicians so i can't criticize them however the front staff is very nasty. they are especially rude to back customers. if it weren't for sasha i would go elsewhere. she makes that business their money!

Very bad customer service. They treat you cheap when you have a voucher like you worth nothing and you end up paying more than regular price , don't use their voucher at least you know you wont pay too much , the specialist changed her words with me 3 times and couldn't explain what is included in the voucher like its a rocket science and before you leave they tell you that you have to pay more , beside the waiting time and the machine that keeps stopping , i don't recommend them at all .

awful awful awful please stay away!. if i could give zero stars i would. do not believe the good reviews, they have written these themselves.

i had over a dozen sessions and i still have hair growing back.

on top of that i was burned a few times and my skin changed color. i am thai and my skin is naturally tanned. they told me that they have a special laser for tanned skins. however after treatment, my skin is lighter in places. according to a doctor i consulted with, the lighter patches are likely to be permanent.

it's terrible, because it is my exposed skin that is burned.

don't be fooled by the cheap prices they lure you in with, this type of treatment should be done by a doctor and not a bimbo in a white coat with a beauticians license.

i am very angry. i am getting married in 3 months, if the scars haven't healed i don't know what i will do. i did not contact an attorney because i know they make you sign something when you start. i feel like such a sucker, please don't fall for their scam the way i did!

SCAM!. This place was a total scam. I was quoted one price over the phone and then after the procedure was done I was told to pay a totally different price. The place was ran very poorly, I had a long wait, and the person was not very nice. The procedure did not even work that good and I had to pay a lot more then I could afford. Place is a total rip off and will charge you mor without telling you.

No long term results. A complete waste of time and money (plus incredibly painful!) - dont bother. You see results at first but nothing long term.

BEWARE OF THE SCAM!!!. Ok, so at first I thought this place was great. I went there and I was seeing results. Only after I went for 6 or 7 treatments did I realize that the results were nowhere near finished. They then convinced me to keep coming - after 10 treatments I still have hair!! And not the "unnoticeable" kind either! Furthermore if I stop going for a couple of months (which I tried now) then ALL of it comes back!

All they said was "Oh, well there is no gurantee"

Uhm WHAT?!!

Over $9K WASTED!!

Definitely NOT recommended!

Lowest price in NYC, and best result.. I'ved tried many other laser places but Satori laser is the best place you'll ever find great service, convenient location and wonderful staff. They use the Candela GentleLase and GentleYag much less painful then the other lasers that I tried in the past. I have recommend Satori laser to all of my friends and family and I would recommend it to anyone. you'll experience great results. I promise you that once you try Satori Laser Hair Removal, you will be very happy with their service.
