It doesn't get much cooler than this. A richly decored Middle Eastern themed bar of plush sofas, 69 different varieties of tobacco flavored with fresh fruit juice, and weekend belly dancing action! A large projector shows Middle Eastern images while world beats play until the early hours.
Arabian nights have never been cozier at this legendary hookah bar. It's filled to the brim with oversized cushions that beg to be lounged on. Nestle around one of the undersized tables and share a hookah, entree, or desserts from Babel's menu, while a guitar and drum in the backroom encourage spontaneous dancing. Though the waiters can tell you about the healing properties of each of their exotic teas, you can always self medicate with beer and wine instead. Try tempting mixes like Viagra, Orgasm, & "Knock me out" to make your night or celebration an amazing experience.

falsely charged me for drinks i never ordered!!!
by maddiemaddie
If I could give this place no stars, I would. I went on a Saturday night for a birthday party. After purchasing 2 drinks for myself, 2 drinks for a friend, and 1 drink for the birthday girl, I closed my tab out. When I received the bill- to my complete astonishment- the bartender charged me for 11 drinks! How does 2+2+1=11? When I demanded to speak to the manager, he agreed to compromise with me by splitting the 11 down the middle. When he printed out the second receipt, he ended up charging me for 8 drinks and he included a forced gratuity! I couldn't believe it. I don't know how 11 divided in half can possibly equate 8, and even further, why on earth would I want to give a tip to a bartender who falsely ran up my tab? I was a frequent customer of this place, but out of principal, I refuse to ever go back. Not only was I cheated and obliged to pay way too much, but I was treated with hostility by both the manager and the bartender. Their behavior was completely unprofessional and unfair.

Great Dance and Dirty Martini's
by starmargo
I have been to Babel several times on Friday and Saturday. The DJ is great. He spins all types of music from top 40, reggaeton, Indian, Persian, remix... Basically if you like to dance to great beats Babel is definitely a place to go.
It can get crowded but if you get there early than Midnight you have a good chance of getting a sitting area and getting the oppurtunity to try the Hukkah selection.
I heart Babel.
- Pros: Great Music, Not too crowded, Reasonably Priced Strong Drinks
- Cons: NONE
Sensual Hookah Lounge with a Moroccan Feel
by nysfinestpunjabikudi
I had heard about Babel two years ago and have since been going to Babel. This place is totally low-key and very romantic! The ambiance is what totally brings crowds in all the time, not to mention that the "Dance Floor" is always full of people dancing the night away to tunes of a mix of Arabic, Spanish, Indian and more! I can always expect to have a great time! This place is great for large parties and for dates equally. Guys, don't be fooled by it's small space, Babel is always packed to the brim! You can expect me to keep coming back for more!
- Pros: Music, ambiance, hookahs, great crowd and great service!
- Cons: none!!!!!!!!!
